[Matchday] Celtic v Dundee Sunday February 20th kick off 3PM Celtic TV

Slow, sloppy and lacklustre performance for the 3rd game in a row. Happy with the teams character to come from behind but expected a much better performance.

 

It was man marking but O'Riley got blocked off by Hatate's man. Lots of teams doing it now, we need to be more clever.

 

Been pretty poor tbh , slack play , poor passing , not flowing, frustrating af , good we are in front though .

 

Second was a pen but the first one wasnt imo.

Still need to be doing better there though..

 

Maeda for the second goal is what we want to see from him when he's out wide. He should be using that pace to get past the full back at every opportunity.

 

Maeda has been absolutely awful and I'm not sure what he brings .

Some of the fouls we have given away is kids football and we can't wait to give them a corner .

If we don't get a 3rd were dropping points here

 

I'd look at taking Giakoumakis off first for Abada early in second half...let Maeda have a run through the middle for the remainder and then have Jota and Abada on the wings.

 

How the * is that not a red and a penalty man.

 

He aint been * for a month but if youve only spotted a bad pass today you better stick a pair of specs on hes been poor today.

You mustve though efe ambrose was better than vvd, lol.

Dont understand the hes beem * for a while now though.

Another sloppy performance. Players need to get a grip.

Get Dembele on for Maeda and switch Jota to the left.

Didn't start playing until we went behind.

Terrible goal to lose as well. Our play has definitely improved but Ange has to get these players up for it from the start.. or CalMac in the huddle.

It's an attitude problem.. can see CalMac urging CCV and Starfelt to push up.

One more goal and this game is done. Squad rotation as soon as next goal goes in

 

Pish poor overall but a few decent moments. Delighted GG has got his two goals, exactly the type of penalty box striker we were hoping he was, will be desperate for his hat trick.

Maeda looks pish although did well for the second goal. He looks so hesitant and needs to build his confidence up. McGregor getting himself forward since the other two midfielders couldny find a * in a brothel. Some nice wee drinks over the top.

The GG penalty shout was a stone waller although again Maeda should have buried it. The fact he had a free header gives the ref a perfect get out for not awarding the pen. Should have still at least booked that * regardless, possibly even a red.

Just want to see us starting to play some good football again, don't think the result will be in doubt at any point but we really need to find our form again for the run in.
