Aye mate everyone favourite players usually the flair players silky midfielder s, guys who get the goals like Rogic, oriley,hatate jota ,Abada kyogo etc but personally think we can replace these guys now like for like, big CCV has been an absolute cool calm colossal rock at the back, very intelligent and calm on the ball and wins absolute everything, don’t remember him making 1 error which most defenders do and JJ is just as vital a strong fast skilful player bombing forward but strong in defence and great also at reading a game


Because they aren’t scoring it can go unnoticed but as last night proved 2 of the strongest important players in our team
Even last night boy Ramsay is quite fast big CCV matched him for pace then brushed him aside like a rag doll

Celtic boss Ange Postecoglou has revealed Josip Juranovic will miss Sunday's Scottish Cup clash with Raith Rovers.




The Croatia international was an absentee during the 3-2 win over Aberdeen but he is expected to be be back for the Europa Conference League playoff with Bodo/Glimt.

Juranovic has been missing due to illness


The rampaging right-back has been in fine form but deputy Anthony Ralston has filled in impressively in the wins over Motherwell and Aberdeen.

Buzzing to get him back for Thursday. What a talent

 

Don’t know if he was unfit still tonight but I’ve noticed this a few times, he needs to stop lackadaisical passing in the small amount of times that he does it, when he’s loose with his passes it’s because he does it lazily.

Like he starts a wee swagger to his game and doesn’t concentrate on what he’s doing. Tonight he done it a lot, last time he done it to this extent was after his penalty against Leverkusen when that was definitely playing like he was unstoppable but wasn’t playing like he was.

One thing I’ve majorly criticised him for is assisting goals, he does the pass before the goal a lot but he gets in positions to make the killer ball.

He stood up and done that with our goal tonight. He needs to build on that though. He is a quality player but his final ball is nowhere near Ralstons, and the assist record this season shows that. Even a poor game from Ralston the weekend he put a perfect ball onto Maeda’s head, and got the assist for the winner making sure he won the ball to put into a dangerous area.

Juranovic is absolutely quality, and he has the ability and because of how consistent he is it goes largely unnoticed but he has another level in him if he makes sure he can prove his final product.

He’s had a good few chances to score from open play as well working his way into positions that are dangerous and hasn’t done it yet, he can go up a level, it’s down to him to prove it though.

I feel like I’m harsh as * on him because I sometimes feel he plays below his level and keeps it safe, whereas I love Ralston because he does the opposite plays above a level that you would think because he makes sure he’s dangerous and uses every ounce of his ability.

 

His involvement in the winning goal yesterday isn’t being talked about enough. Dundee breaking and he tracks back, wins the ball cleanly and mounts the counter, all the while sprinting at full pelt to contribute.

 

Came in to post exactly this, he was excellent for that goal.. turned defence into attack with pure class..

 

The timing of his interception to nick the ball and then sprint up the field was superb.

I think he is right up there as one of our best players in terms of how good he is at playing his position. It’s a shame putting him on the left as our options there are so poor, because it blunts his own game.

A better quality left back has to be up there in terms of priorities with keeping the two loan boys in the summer.
