I’m sure we thought that a few years ago and moi popped up from nowhere

 

Moi wasn't deadline day

 

Like others, I'd hoped for a left back. I'd be less bothered if there was an indication that we'd made serious attempts to bolster the defence that just hadn't come off, but that doesn't seem to be the case. I understand that Ange's system favours strength at the front but it just seems to be an oversight given how many times easy goals have cost us.

 

So is there any chance we're signing anywan?

 

Well it was being reported we've shifted our priorities for this evening and are trying for a left back. No names in the frame and all quiet.

 

We should wait for them to announce Ramsey and announce Jota and CCV permanents. Slag the loan deals. Bants.

 

If soro is allowed fo leave then tht leave sonly hatate , oriley and mcarthy for Wednesday, this tells me calmac might have a good chance

 

I reckon that’s the case. Jota & CCV probably already signed up last week, just leaving it for deadline day drama.

It’s a long shot because there would’ve been at least one person who would have let the media known but hey, a lad can dream

 

Apparently trying a last ditch attempt for Lee Buchan from Derby.

Rooney said no one’s leaving but if there’s money on the table, the owners are taking it. Especially the position they’re in

 

What do you think the chances are?

 

Depends how much we offer but say it’s unlikely. He’s out of contract in the summer though so the more likely outcome is we sign him on a pre-contract tonight

 

There’s no chance we bring anyone else in. All in all a good window and speaks volumes of the manager how far we’ve come since August. Massive few months ahead.

 

Wow Barkas on the way out finally, hopefully. Well pleased to get rid of some dead wood. Not that bothered about a signing unless it's a really good one.

 

Probably only a loan signing I bet.

 

Where you seeing this?

 

I wasn't expecting much from this window other than the 3 Japanese lads, so getting O'Riley was a bonus for me. A good left back would have made it a great window in my opinion, but I wasn't really anticipating anything happening there until the summer. I also can't see anything being sorted with Jota or CCV until the summer, so I think we are done.

Needless to say I'd be very happy to be wrong.

We've had a great window and summer transfer window so cant complain really.. getting the likes of Soro and Barakas off the books and some of the younger lads out on loan too is a bonus..
