Grand old team to play for
    Hart
    Ralston - CCV - Starfelt - Taylor
    Hatate
    O'Riley - Juranovic
    Abada - GG - Jota
Obviously a bit weird to play Juranovic as an attacking mid, but really think we'll need Hatate at CDM. Don't trust Mcarthy or Soro at all and JJ always looks like a smart, technically good player. Can't think of a better option for the third midfield spot. If Maeda was OK to start on the left wing maybe Jota could play in the middle.

Was wondering if any of our defenders could play CDM, but can't see it.

Really don't want to see McCarthy having to start this game.

Would even be tempted to play juranovic in the middle with Ralston on the right and scales or Taylor on the left back positions.

If its his jaw then that's a completely different story although to be fair with club continuing to keep us in the dark with regards to players injuries its no wonder fans are speculating on who is fit and who isn't

Sorry, but there is no way it was a double jaw break. Do you understand how much pain he would be in and how debilitating that can be. 3 days later he was at the game on camera chewing chewing gum.

I have to agree with this. Broken bones hurt, and no way would someone with a broken jaw be able to chew gum.

It’s cheekbone and jaw that’s what his dad was saying

At the end of the day he won’t play so we can debate all we want if he will or won’t or just focus on bartering the huns

Would love us to get someone in tomorrow that would have the potential to be a real difference maker on Wednesday, even if just of the bench.

Abada and Jota both start as two of the front 3 but I feel there is still a place for another forward.

Left back is a concern and depending how long McGregor is out DM is a worry for that game in particular but our big problem recently has been creating and scoring enough goals and to win the league we need to be more clinical.

It’s mad to think we have brought in three CMs but actually find ourself with 4 out of 6 unavailable in terms of first picks and other Bittons suspension 5 from 7. McCarthy playing there which is the likely outcome gives me the fear.

O'Riley can play the 6 and apparantly did well in the role whenever he was asked to play it. Has the tools to play there based on what he's shown so far.

Can't see Ange moving him or even Hatate (who also might be able to play there himself) so it's probably going to be McCarthy in the 6 and Juranovic taking back the RB spot.

Thing is, if we do play McCarthy it may be the type of game that launches his Celtic career..

Eternal optimism when it comes to Celtic is one of my biggest flaws.. :56:

In fairness to him the last two games that we lost control in the midfield he came on and settl3d things....

Maybe I'm being optimistic too :56:

Nothing will be won or lost on Wednesday. A win only puts us a point ahead with about 15 games to go.

I would not be 100% shocked if McGregor made the game with a mask on. It would be awesome if he did.

if he plays the full 90m youd have him back playing for us 32 hours later travelling half way round the world in the process ? id love him to be able to play realistically in this game but i think this is fantasy stuff, and we risk injuring him, would we normally play the same player 1 day and a bit after playing ? and theres a precendent to this turning out to be disasterous, big efe ambrose winning the african cup of nations with nigeria and rushing back for our tie with juventus in champions league i think and being an absolute liability, he just shouldnt have played

weve got enough firepower in attack and midfield to see these mutants off without acting desperate

We kind of don't, but your point above is valid- a tired player is likely to play poorly- particularly regarding high-energy pressing. We just have to accept that our attack won't be at its best. But neither will theirs. A draw is the most likely result.

I’ve tried to be supportive of McCarthy but I think he will be as much use as a traffic cone.

Far too slow and not mobile enough for the way Ange wants to play.

Can do a job in certain games but definitely not Wednesday.

you cant compare italian football standards officiating and physical play to scotland

the professionalism of our league is * level compared to most of the big leagues
