I agree. But. Your point regarding an arm is wrong. You aren’t offside if your arm is ahead of the player and the rest of your body isn’t. for the reason that you can’t score with it. Only parts of the body you can score with come into play in the offside rule

Ah I thought the upper half of your body including arms is deemed offside if infront at the time of the ball being played. Obviously if I'm wrong then fair enough.

You are only offside if a part of the body you can score a goal with is ahead of the defender. So basically you can be offside with everypart of the body apart of your body apart from your arms.

It was blatantly obvious that the diets were instructed to put the boot in immediately after the break and Beaton began letting them away with them. They also threw on that big black guy on loan from Everton on and he caused a few problems at the back. I thought CCV, Starfelt did well but I still think we need a big tall solid CH to win the high balls. Loved Reo's goal and Jota was unstoppable first half and I also can't wait to get our first choice team playing together. Great 3 points tonight however, we need to keep it going

 

Definitely, some of the football we played tonight was beautiful. Hatate and Jota were outstanding in particular.

That's one of the reasons why we have difficulties putting our strongest players together on.the pitch. Every game they get assaulted. And it's the referees that allow this! Playing hard is ok, but risking our players health is unaccaptable!
