I was in completely agreement with this, but his social media definitely suggests otherwise plus he apparently done the vast majority of his rehab on the astro (including this week), so maybe he will.

Yeah I took it as he had been given the green light to play tomorrow… hopefully that’s the case anyway

Grand old team to play for
Doubt he'll start. Would be good to see him come on as a sub.

Thats what I was thinking. Probably on the bench and hopefully comes on for a bit in the second half.

Postecoglou admitted Jullien’s return is a major boost though after the Frenchman battled back from a brutal knee injury suffered in December 2020.

He said: “He’s been training well since the restart and doing everything with the team.

“He is obviously not ready to play 90 minutes at the level he wants to, more than anything else, but he will get in over the next few weeks.

“There is a good chance he will be involved against Alloa.”

Just can’t get enough Depeche mode
Can’t wait for him to be back playing again

Has any of our players in the past had the same knee injury as Jullien? Curious to how robust his knee will be lol

Brilliant news. Sounds like he will be on the bench so and hopefully see some game time in the second half.

There's a bit of me wanting to see the big man back however, knowing our luck with injuries, he would suffer some sort of recurrence or even a dreaded hammy.

Brilliant to have him back. But today he's a spectator. Wouldn't put him near a fake pitch. Plenty opportunities to feature this season, today's an unnecessary risk.

John Kennedy and Brian O'Neil off the top of my head - both ruptured cruciates I think.

Time to get him back in and give him armband too.
Mcgregor is as big a loss for his leadership as he is for his playing ability.
Jullien is closest we have to natural replacement in terms of leadership qualities

Julien is a leader but as much as I like and rate him, at this stage he is not a certain starter and the captaincy really should be someone who is more likely to start than not.

Joe Hart would be the obvious, if Bitton plays in CalMac's absence then it could be him, as he has recently taken over as his NT captain also, but Joe Hart is the logical choice.

Let Julien concentrate on proving he is fully recovered, winning his place as first choice back and consistently get through 90min without having to contend with taking on that extra responsibility of being captain as well.
