    This.

Couldn't care less how awkward he looks on the ball tbh. The fact is that he is very safe in possession.

Tbh I think CCV being an absolute Tank doesn't help Starfelt's case, don't think I've seen CCV make one mistake since he arrived.

I do like Starfelt, and I agree with the Kelvin Wilson comparisons, think he's somebody who'll begin to thrive once he's fully settled.

Been back and forth with him but I get the feeling he's gonna settle and have a stormer of a second half of the season..

Loved how aggressive he was the other night. Was noticeable right away..

He has certainly shown some signs that he can be a decent player for us. Not every player settles straight away but I still think it is too early to say how Starfelt will pan out as a Celtic player and he deserves more time IMHO to show he can be consistently a good player for us.

If big CJ comes back and performs of old, then CJ and CCV will be our first choice pairing. If that happens, I think we should punt Starfelt-and use whatever coin we get to secure CCV. Starfelt has shown glimpses and does look like he has learned from that cup final and was really aggressive the other night. But the clock is ticking, he has had enough bedding in time and needs to step up.

Some of the excuses people are peddling on here are pathetic - CCV being a tank, time to settle, right footed etc, load of cobblers. He is a 25 year old established international, been away fae hame before, have boots/will travel is what pro footballers do. Look at the * boys, coming to a totally different culture and looks like they will still perform regardless.
A big 4 months ahead for him

Guy was * outstanding second half. Absolute colossus when we were under massive pressure.

    Dominant.

That clearance in the second half was unbelievable. Looked like they had an easy tap in.

Thought he caused a lot of havoc tonight. Often let his man and the ball have the opportunity to go in behind him and expose the space between him and Vickers

Don’t know how he ended up getting there.

Took him a second to get up cos the way his body was tangled up.

Apart from a single misjudged ball I thought in the 2nd half he was colossal.

He (and CCV) stood up to the task superbly when it was coming at us in waves.

I thought he was solid yet he’s still getting slated on social media.

I don’t think the guy can win. One or two missed challenges aside he wasn’t bad at all. He’s had his moments of madness in a Celtic shirt, but some of the criticism is really harsh and when some other players have poor games they seem to avoid it.

People don’t really give him the middle ground. It’s like he either has to be amazing or he’s *.
