Think everyone is in agreement that LB is one of the last pieces of squad surgery that is a MUST.

Its not an indictment on Taylor, good lad, runs is heart out, etc etc, but his lack if pace slows us down and his defensive frailties are glaringly obvious.

We currently have 3 LBs and all three look to be the weakest link in the side, no matter which us picked.
That should be motivation enough to go out and get one in, regardless of who is sold or loaned out.

I would honestly give Boli a run of a couple of games or at least start Juri on the left with Rambo at Rb.
Taylor us just far too weak defensively and gets caught out for pace, weakening the whole back line.

Fine spl player, good back up to have, wee liked by all. But simply not good enough.

I think Taylor is actually decent. Decent is usually the best we can hope for at Leftback. Before KT you have to go all the way back to Tommy Gemmel before we had an outstanding player in that postion.

Not saying we shouldn't be looking at better but am happy wae wee Greg. Reminds me of maself playing football, looks * from the first minute to the last but keeps getting about the bit.

Some of his passing was excellent last night tho, nearly has an assist for Hatate in the 2nd and played the ball to Abada for the penalty...

I know his passing was some of the best in the squad last night but he just doesn't have the aggressive attacking mind that Ralston and juranovic have.

Personally thought he was fine last night, and had a major part in our second goal.

I did think he was left with 2 v 1 quite a few times which means either the tactics are very risky and we'll concede against better teams or someone else isn't doing their job.

I know we definitely need better however, I am not going to crucify the guy as he is obviously trying to fulfill Ange's game plan which. as we saw last night, can leave space

Played well last night and was firing in nice balls in the 1st half.

These are usually spot on but one defensive error is just blatant lies..

My point wasn't specific to last night's game. But even so, that's part of the problem, if he's having to cover for Taylor he's more likely to make a mistake by being out of position, which in turn makes it more likely his confidence takes a hit again. His mistakes tend to come in spurts, none for a while but when he makes one more tend to follow soon after, as it seems like he can't just shake it off and carry on with the game. Hence my point about it being a concern in high pressure matches them playing together.

100%. We do need better, but the manager is not going to get the best out of him using him like that. Sooner he reverts to using overlapping the better (not that Taylor’s much better at that, but it’s more straightforward and leaves us slightly less exposed). Apparently the tendency to use inverted full backs was something he only developed later in his managerial career. Surely he doesn’t have to stick to that to carry off the rest of his gameplan?

Think he needs to be dropped. He’s muck and would be a bad choice to play against the huns I think

Played well last night. Obviously playing to instructions and executing the role asked of him well from Ange's perspective.

    He's * pish..

Turned all the time. Even for the corner that they got the penalty from. It was him turned with ease by Boyce in the lead up..

Passed it out or gave it away so many time's..

    Criminal and has to go..
