Most of that was for Fulham youths.

By all accounts we are buying him just before he becomes out of our reach, he's had an unreal season so far.

Can't believe how much of a steal this seems.

Genuinely seems a far better prospect than McGree, at half the price and two years younger.

    Accumulating some serious talent here.

Massive struggle for anyone to get into the team for the rest of the season.

    Except LB, obviously.

Apologies if this clips been posted. Looks like a deeper version of Rogic. Not afraid to get forward either though. Have a good feeling about this one.

I want one badly too, but I think Ange can get a player out of Scales. I don't think his conditioning is quite right but I see a big physical left back there with some fine tuning.

Hatate is covering for LB, CB, CF and GK anyway.

We are building a right talented sexy squad too, I agree.

Celtic have thwarted a bid by West Brom to hijack their £1.5million swoop for Matt O’Riley.

English Championship Baggies made an 11th hour bid to land the highly-rated MK Dons star. But Celtic had agreed a deal for the 21-year-old with the League One side.

And O’Riley has travelled north for a medical and the players’ representatives are expected in Glasgow on Thursday to finalise personal terms on a long-term deal.

It’s a coup for Celtic as O’Riley has been one of the standout performers in League One this season and that brought him to attention of boss Ange Postecoglou.

Swansea, Blackburn and Huddersfield were all also keen while West Brom made a late-ditch bid to sign him.

Postecoglou, who saw Riley McGree snatched from his grasp by a last-gasp offer from Middlesbrough, has already spoken to O’Riley at length about the role he sees him playing at Celtic.

O’Riley, who has seven goals and five assists this season, was also on the radar of a number of European clubs including Anderlecht and Venezia.

The England-born player, who is also eligible to play for Denmark and Norway, came through the youth ranks at Fulham before joining MK Dons.

If Celtic get the deal over the line, O’Riley will be their fifth capture of the transfer window.

They have already added Japanese trio Reo Hatate, Daizen Maeda and Yosuke Ideguchi and young Irish striker Johnny Kenny.

Teams with a genuine chance of being in league 1 over next 5 years throwing 20k a week on unknowns on long term contracts. Absolute madness

Can see the why the Rogic comparison came about now with that video. Sounds like a talent from the reaction, hopefully he can step up a level and we get a few years out him if he does.

That's partly because Boyle is their best player - plays on the right, so Taylor's side.

Have to laugh in that article where they say he is eligible also to play for Denmark and Norway but no mention of Ireland despite the surname.

If we want to progress as team, our LB will come across much better players than Boyle.

He looks to have some amount of talent, has that look of things being effortless to him and displays some vision.

A lot of pundits that follow the leagues say he will be worth 10 times what we are paying in a year or two if he continues to progress. That will be something else that’s important to the club that we have players capable of producing and being high value in the future.

With Turnbull, by the looks of Hatate and now O’Riley that’s three right away in midfield and if you made Jota a permanent, him Kyogo and possibly Maeda up top who would fit that bracket.

    Is he eligible though?

I have an irish surname but I wouldn't be, because of the generations skip.
