    I feel like Congerton might be one of those guys you meet in professions that is always going from job to job. Good at using buzzwords in job interviews and explaining away poor performance as someone else’s fault.

    It’s frightening how many folk like this you come across in high up positions.

    I might be being unfair on him but these types of people do exist.

    I'm not trying to re-write Snake's history, but we have to look at our competition (or lack thereof) during his tenure... and lets be honest, I'm pretty sure a nutless monkey could have guided us to all 7 trophies!

    A better test of his Celtic tenure would have been what he (never) achieved in Europe...

    The 4 previous seasons to Rodgers' arrival we played in a league without some manifestation of the Rangers franchise.

    12 trophies available to us in that period.

    We won 6.

    Rodgers comes in and we win 7 out of 7.

    Rodgers was an outstanding success at Celtic. Best manager since MON.

    Tbf he did have competition the refs …. Reason deila lost a treble …. Rodgers always had a dossier on ref on game plan that all player where given to take home and study so they knew what refs were likely to accept in a game
