Unless he can consistently play like he did tonight, yes.

Thought he was poor tonight. Yes he did win the ball a few times but he did not get forward enough. How often did he bypass Forrest? In comparison Juranovic constantly got forward and was much more adventurous. Also Taylor left so may gaps behind him. Its no suprise most of Hibs best chances came from his side

can’t remember the guys name but about 5/6 years ago the engerland squad scored a few set pieces and their set pieces coach was Scottish, anyone mind his name?

Even if he didn’t move his arm, it was up and away from the body hitting his arm at shoulder height, he stopped the ball going inside to Maeda for a goal scoring opportunity.

    Clear penalty.

I don't know if it's just me but apart from the early chance to Hibs, I felt like it was a bit of a walk in the park. I don't think Celtic got out of second gear and the win looked so comfortable.

It was great to see the news signings but I expect them to only get better from here. As Ange said, the team looked a bit rusty today. Definitely not as sharp as before the break.

Also, I loved the Palestinian flag. Some of the things Celtic and Celtic supporters stand for outside the field aligns well with my beliefs. Definitely more than just a football club. I've really enjoyed following the club this season.

Really enjoyed that performance tonight. Would have been nice to have got another goal or 2 but very happy with that overall. What a debut by Reo fully deserved the man of the match and a debut goal for Maeda as well was brilliant. Guchi when he came on looked calm in possession as well. Forrest looked refreshed and back to something like his best and credit to Starfelt who has taken plenty of stick and rightly so thought he was excellent at the back tonight.

Need some penalty controversy to try and bury the news that rangers get more penalties than anyone.

Abada has done that upward ball flick in previous games as well - very clever and very 'Brazilian' in order to change direction to his left or right.

There are Palestinians that are Muslim, there are Palestinians that are Christian. Palestine was in existence since pre Roman occupation times.

Who was on sportscene tonight? Thompson and Shergar? Neither of whom seem to understand football. It wasn't even a harsh penalty, it was clear as day.

Bonner has been a soup taker for years. He says the right thing to keep an income stream in.

I couldnae believe he never closed down Maeda at the goal, he was in no-mans land.

I didn’t watch Sportscene but assuming that’s true, it’s EXACTLY what I’m talking about when it comes to VAR.

This is them preparing and conditioning everyone so a referee can use VAR and still give the wrong decision.

They’re clearly worried about what it will mean for their control up here, so they need to ensure that by default even obvious decisions are still debatable so the ref can do what he wants.

    It’s so obvious.

Yeah to be honest I can see VAR stopping us from getting close calls for us or anybody against the hun but not the huns. It will be the same dodgy * reffing. Also as VAR doesn't affect free kicks and the huns will still get loads and we will get loads of fouls given against us.
