I think you could hear the whole crowd gasp at that pass. The commentators were stunned at the quality of it and I think a lot of people creamed themselves over it tonight.

That sort of passing vision and accuracy is rare.

 

That one took me by surprise aswell. Thought he was going to play it short but ended up creating an opportunity out of nothing. I thought he was going to try and mix it up tonight but that tempo would get to him a bit. Instead he completely strolled it.

 

His passing will cause havoc, you can try and defend it, but when a lad pings a ball from the line to the top of the box like that, defences are going to get exposed, I don’t care how good you are, you are open and scrambling at that point.

 

Mate I keep thinking about Hatate’s passing tonight and Kyogo’s first touch for his first goal in the cup final and how they are meant for each other.

Wait until Hatate and Rogic gel. Our front 3 will be dining out on fine dishes.

There were signs there that Rogic hasn’t got his combinations right, but as we saw in the first half of the season, once he had it sorted it is a thing of beauty.

Tonight gave me the thoughts that not only could the treble be on, so too could the quadruple if we get LB sorted.

Considering he is rusty, afterall its like theyve just finished the summer off. Some of those passes were disgusting. A few games in and many of those just cut out, will be slipped straight through. Exciting talent.

 

One of the best debuts at parkhead I have seen he absolutely strolled it and bossed it. He’s going to be a pler for sure

That "at the moment" is giving me the fear already. FFS Ange, give us a chnce to enjoy his performace before bringing us crashing back down to earth.

That last pass took about 40 Hibs players out the game and opened up a chance for us. Outstanding.

There was also a first time pass he did with the outside of his foot that went to the by line in the first half. It was amazing. Took everybody by surprise. As soon as he hit that I thought he was going to be class.

 

Canny believe some of our fans seem to want players who’s height of their ambition should be playing in Scottish football.


Every player should be aiming to make it to the highest level possible and doing everything they can to make it.

Exactly. And the more players that give us 2/3 seasons of quality performances before moving on to one of the top leagues, then the more attractive we are to quality players. So long as we always have loyal players like Forrest, McGregor, Ralston etc in our squad, cycling through the likes of Dembele, Edouard, Kyogo, Hatate etc makes perfect sense.

 

Wouldn’t mind if Hatatae stayed for 3 seasons to go for big money if it meant keeping kyogo his whole career
