So Rogic is one shy of Willie Wallace's appearances and Nir Bitton has equalled that achievement

Barring injuries this season Cal Mac, will move ahead of Big Yogi and Bitton and Rogic will move above Griff

Its weird that the book about 125 years of Celtic has every team sheet from every season, i think except maybe the war years. Will check on Monday on day off.

I don't have that book you're talking about as that was published long after my sight had gone, so that's pretty cool that they do have such a comprehensive record. Around 2005/6-ish, before I lost my sight, I was doing some research about the state of the Scottish game in the late 19th century and as part of that was allowed access to SFA archives and they were missing a whole bunch, so I presumed if they didn't... Although admittedly that research was incomplete and teamsheets were not the primary focus of what I was looking into.

Also just checked and the book was published by Celtic, authors were David Potter and Marie Rowan.
Maybe Celtic or the authors could help you with a braille copy

lol, tbh mate, it wouldnt help as i can't read braille - well not more than a very little bit.

In truth, it's not really a skill that gets taught in later life - and have never had anyone from the blind society suggest or recommend that I should, or given pointers on how to. But then again it's not super necessary, especially with technology & audiobooks etc, or scanning the pages of a actual book for zoomtext on my laptop to read forme, whihc is like what I have to do with any mail that I get etc.

But yeah, even from the people that I've met through the blind society, really it is mainly those who have pretty much always been blind that are encouraged/need to learn braille, generally speaking, and not even sure how much of a priority it is even for blind kids growing up at school nowadays, again, esp with other technologies available to help with that. It might be, but I've no idea, really. Although there are keyboards that are braille and other braille devices that can be used also, but yeah, I've never felt the need to go down that path.

David Potter is great. Used to write for his KTF site, back around the time when I was doing that research I alluded to earlier. In fact only joined TC (even though KTF really wasn't a forum as such) and was looking for somewhere to join when KTF kicked the bucket which was 2009, and my sight was seriously deteriorating by that point.

If Bitton plays every match from now until winter break he will be 2 games short of Griff.
If same for Cal Mac he will go into winter break 1 short of Jackie McNamara.

Bitton only one game short of equalling Nicholas' appearances.

    Edit: Just equalled Nicholas.

If Forrest plays the next 6 matches he will overtake the legendary Stevie Chalmers in this season's Scottish League Cup final.

For anyone thinking there are discrepancies in the counts, NONE of the current players have the Glasgow Cup in it as that was a SENIOR cup comp until 1989 at latest. Any player who played for Celtic in that comp before '89 will be counted but none after then.

Today's match means that Forrest has equalled the Late Great Lisbon Lion Steve Chalmers in Celtic appearances.
