    Great first half, bit boring second. We've seen tonight that we have now some strongly needed squat depth. Even though we still have injury woes, we had some quality on the bench.

    We should quickly punt Bolingoli, just doesn't make any sense to have 2 backups and him as former thought to be number one. We need 1 quality player in that position!

    Looked a proper team, got the goals and then controlled the game till the end. Very few scares as well which is nice.

    My impressions.

    Hatate is a very good player. Good vision and a very accurate passer of the ball and is willing to shoot.

    Giakoumakis looks more mobile, quicker and is showing better touch on the ball than previously. Looks trimmer also.

    Maeda is a very dangerous forward and looks equal to Kyogo.

    Juranovic is a very clinical penalty taker and has my vote each time.

    Tbh I did notice that we had a lot less of the ball tonight and they were knocking it around loads without doing much. So the stat doesn't shock me.

    All about the first half. Second took the foot off the gas and never really looked in serious danger. Comfortable and a good debut for Hatate & Maeda with a goal.

    Roll on to the Cup in the weekend.

    I am with you Hammy, he always looks nervous. I would rather play Welsh. However the club paid big money for Starfelt. I would rather they alternate games, depending on the opposition, for away and home games.

    Even Guchi looked a player when he came on.

    Tonight had the potential to be a banana skin but we controlled the game and were well worth the win. I thought Taylor who is the whipping boy played well although some will never give him credit, Starfelt looked far better and Abada had a good game. Must say as well Giakoumakis looked far slimmer and mobile. I think he has something to offer. Hatate is going to the Premier League in a couple of seasons for huge money so we may enjoy him. He looks like he has it all. Maeda quick and efficient but for me maybe not as instinctive as Kyogo. A good alternative though. Ideguchi looks solid. A massive 3 points. Every game is must win now.

    WOW, what an upgrade with these 2 when starting, exciting times ahead.
    Tam looked a tad rusty but great to see him now lasting the 90min.
