    No good..

Need another attack minded midfielder/10 in now..

Do Hatate or Ideguchi take set pieces?

That is real blow both for us and the player. Worse then I had hoped for. Definitely leaves us short while Rogic is away with Australia at the end of January early February.

Considering how injury prone Rogic is, I think we'll need another CAM now.

Hopefully those Hannes Wolf rumours were true

    Step up Reo Hatate.

    McGregor Hatate
    Rogic
Still need another creative midfielder though.

Well for sure at least for a few games we will be missing both when Rogic is away with Australia so that is an issue no doubt about it.

That seems like a really long time for a hamstring. Hopefully that's worst case.

I don't want just Hatate through the door now.

McCarthy, McGregor, Bitton, Rogic, Turnbull and Hatate.

3 positions. Turnbull is out for 2 months. * knows what will happen if one or more pick up injuries.

DAVID TURNBULL is set to return from injury in a matter of weeks, Ange Postecoglou has confirmed.

The Celtic star limped off at Hampden Park in the Premier Sports Cup final win over Hibs.

The 22-year-old has been a key player for the Hoops this campaign featuring 34 times already and chipping in with nine goals and seven assists.

He suffered a hamstring strain in the December showpiece as Kyogo Furuhashi netted a double to secure the first piece of silverware on offer this campaign.

And Postecoglou hopes to have the midfielder back in his side sooner rather than later.

He said: "It's hard to put a timeline on it.

"But he's working hard in rehab and feels good at how it's going.

"It's a matter of weeks, rather than anything longer.

But he played a lot of football in the first half of the season and he's probably one of the ones who suffered because of that.

"When he does come back we'll be able to balance it a bit more with the reinforcements we've brought in."

Glad to hear he will be back sooner rather than later, important player who doesn't get enough credit

Great news, we need all our top players available and with lots of competition in each place then it should stop people becoming complacent.

Excellent news, people forget he's only 22 at times..

He's not the finished article but with the competition and extra recovery, the new signings bring, hopefully he'll continue to be a big player for us and kick on again.

Definitely needs support as I think before he got injured he was the only player to play in every competitive game

I am very much with you there. Great news to know that he will be back maybe before the end of February by the sounds of what Ange said there and that for sure is better then I was assuming.

I think criticism he received was by and large justified. He does tend to add to our woes when the side is underperforming, and only appears to turn it on when we are blowing sides away.

Harsh i know, but given his position, yood like to see him take a bit of initiative in games that are a slog.

At least three fixtures before the break he had me tearing my hair out with his 5 touches and 20 minutes before picking a pass.

BUT, as @JC Anton correctly pointed out, its easy to forget hes * child. And has soooo much development ahead of him.

We asked alot, too much in fact, before we brought in reinforcements. Not to mention seeing how distraught he was in the cup final showed me that this is a kid who's serious about his development and working his * off.

The kid will be a lynchpin for us in a couple of years. The type of player youd have to light his boots on fire to stop him playing.

Is it hasty for me to suggest that Turnbull is unlikely to play a big part in Anges plans moving forward?

    Yes..

He's been excellent up until his injury and will continue to be a big part of the squad..

The competition will help him.. but he will need to be on it every game just like all of them.

He'll definitely play his part. How much? Hard to say.

Got to be honest, with McGregor, Hatate, O'Riley and Rogic all fit and firing I don't see how he gets in. No slight on the guy but they are just better players and suit Ange ball down to the ground.
