Looking on Live Football On TV and I see the Sky/Hun love in continues. We’ve each got 7 away games until the winter break - all of theirs are on Sky but only 3 of ours are. So it’s dodgy streams or £70/£80 in PPV’s if you can’t get tickets.

Are there any rules about how many times a team can feature in the current TV deal?

It's an incredibly busy run of games we have ahead of us. Saturday was the first of 9 that we will be playing in less than 4 weeks when the League Cup Final is scheduled to play.

Although the huns do have a few hard games coming up I also think our games are also going to be difficult. If we can get through these games with maximum points then we can kick on from there in January when, hopefully, we have a few more players onboard

DUNDEE UNITED face a scramble to get Sunday’s Sky game with Celtic on.

SunSport understands it's in major doubt following significant damage to Tannadice caused by Storm Arwen last weekend.

United confirmed on Monday that the stadium would need to be assessed and repaired after Dundee City Council closed the road outside.

And now it’s understood they will have to satisfy health and safety chiefs before the clash against Ange Postecouglou's side is given the green light.

The game is due to be on live television, so they will try to fast-track repairs over the next 48 hours in a bid to get it played.

United’s statement said: “Following Friday night's Storm Arwen, we can confirm parts of the Jerry Kerr Stand roof were damaged. As a result Dundee City Council closed the road outside.

Assessment of damage and restoration will begin today

Following our statementearlier this week regarding the Storm Arwen damage to the Jerry Kerr Stand roof and having subsequently commissioned professional assessment of the damages, we have reluctantly taken the decision to close the Jerry Kerr Stand for Sunday's fixture versus Celtic due to ongoing safety concerns.

Work has been ongoing since the weekend in an attempt to ensure the stand could be used by spectators but due to the extent of the damage and concerns remaining regarding the risk to spectators, we have been advised by the structural engineering company in conjunction with Dundee City Council Building Standards to close the stand for this fixture.

Celtic supporters who have been allocated tickets in this stand will receive a full refund. Celtic Football Club will manage the refund process and will communicate directly with those supporters affected.

To this end, we thank all refunded supporters for their understanding and state clearly they should not travel to Tannadice for this game.

Dundee United have today confirmed that, following storm damage being caused to the Jerry Kerr Stand, it will now be closed for the match this Sunday, December 5, 2021, which will regrettably mean a number of Celtic supporters are unable to attend the match.

    See Dundee United statement.

Clearly we sympathise with all those supporters affected and understand the disappointment this will cause.

Please note, Celtic supporters who have been allocated tickets in this stand will receive a full refund. Celtic Football Club will the manage the refund process and will communicate directly with those supporters affected."

We would echo Dundee United’s request that supporters without tickets do not travel to Tannadice Park for safety reasons.

Celtic would like to reassure supporters that this match will not be taken into consideration with the regards to future ticket allocations.

Glad it's still going ahead. The gap, even with the game in hand....would start to look worse than it was..

Our next set of fixtures, which are all played over a 24 day period, could very well determine whether we can win the league . We have Hibs h, Hearts a, Dundee Utd h, huns h, Motherwell a, and Aberdeen a. If we can come through this period with maximum points then we can certainly win the league. Here's hoping we can play our strongest team in all of those games and all of our players are match fit and available for once this season.
