I got it down to 31 .... not bad out of 200 films

 

Oh it could be that. @dbhoy72 hasn't sent his list to me yet, so don't know but guess will find out when he does, lol.

Jeeze o !! ive no saw 95% of them and no idea of the musical content so will need to be ten films i know a song from ,
basically Disney films when Emma was wee .

 

Not sure what you mean mate. If the link had problem for you, but worked ok for me. It's on Page 7, with all the posters - was just trying something different rather than just write out each movie and sactors/directos, to post the posters instead. Sorry for any confusion.

Just waiting to clarify a couple of points with a couple of people, but hopefully all set to start the Rankdown countdown this evening, fingers crossed.

But just wanted to thank everyone in advance who has contributed to this. Have had 27 (including myself) responses from people, which does make it pretty broad spread of tastes and gives a pretty good sample size for us to work with, and an especially good response from a number of new contributors also, very much welcome and appreciated, in addition to so many of the usual suspects.

Lol sorry, yes thats what I meant.

Its probably the least appealing movies tbh for me, although the twist youve added will obviously allow more movies, as for me most of the films listed wouldnt be classed as musicals per se but you've mad a great choice to add the musical links with films.

Not sure if youve done song/soundtrack yet, think theyd be good ones.

 

Movies that are about music but not limited to musicals, so about music, musicians/music industry or where the DJ/etc selection of music is part of the story and is being acknwledged within the movie, etc.

Will do a seperate one of these Rankdowns in due course, based on scores & soundtracks. We'll get there, promise.
