I think hatate is gonna blow us all away playing in that left centre mid spot and no doubt we will prob see him at left back too. Hopefully maeda can play off the right..

Be interesting to see them, unusual to bring in 3 foreign players like this from the same country. At least 1 you'd hope to be good but be superb if all 3 make an impact.

If Hatate and Maeda make an impact similar to Kyogo's and Jota's we'll win the league.

If Ideguchi is a better option than Soro, McCarthy and Shaw it will strengthen us massively in terms of rotation.

Brilliant to get these guys in the door so early.

Gonna shamelessly plug the podcast in here, as the guys just had Dan Orlowitz on today for some insight in to the new signings

Who better to get in touch with, than a guy who's spent the last few years watching all these players and our manager over there.

Can either of them take a decent corner or free kick?

Celtic twitter Japan - 37,000 yesterday.

Celtic twitter Japan - 38,000 today!

A thousand Japanese Football fans liking Celtic in one day.

Celtic can make so much money. And have fun with promoting Scotland to Japan and of course first and foremost. The club to Japanese football fans wanting to watch their star players.

    Scottish Culture is well loved.

Tartan, the mountains and legends, the castles. The knights of the realm. The unicorn. The clans. Tourists love all that.

The club could promote the whiskey industry to its biggest foreign market. You name it.

A player could do a whiskey tour.

Tartans and clans, with Summer Harl? Could be a segment worth watching.

Danny Mcgrain on tour: Scotland's castles and knights of the realm! Translated to Japanese.

The opportunites and ideas for this channel are endless.

Scottish football history. Just go full Football Italia. Like Channel 4 did.

Glasgow Uni is full of Japanese students. A lot of them tech savvy. You know it's a good idea celtic!

In the SPL we should play them both through the middle in a 352 with Jota left and Juranovic on the right.

Should invite the Japanese national team to play us at Celtic Park. Just like we did when beating Chinese national team 6-1 in the 80s

Been watching Celtic for 53 years and Naka is one of the best free kick takers i have ever seen. So privileged to have seen him play for us.

I remember when Naka was playing for us and you would see groups of Japanese taking loads of photos of, well practically anything in and around the stadium. They were also loaded with scarfs, tops and any other Celtic type souvenirs and there's definitely a market there for us. I wonder if we can get some sushi added to the half time snacks on offer to go along with our lukewarm over priced pies n Bovril

Haha fantastic. Mikaku needs to open up a stall in the stadium. Let's make a half time bovril and sushi Instagram friendly!

Maeda, Hatate and Yosuke Ideguchi were all confirmed on Friday in a triple New Year signing swoop for the Hoops.

Celtic are working hard to secure work permits for the Japanese stars.

The J.League trio follow in the footsteps of Kyogo, who has proved a smash hit since his summer arrival from Vissel Kobe.

Yokohama F. Marinos striker Maeda has initially signed on a six-month loan deal, but the Hoops are obligated to buy for a fee of around £1.7million.

Ideguchi and Hatate join the club on four-and-a-half-year deals.

Now all three could be involved when Celtic return to action against Hibs on January 17.

As Lupis said he turned down an increase of around a third. Take Edouard for example, was on around 19k here and he's on 70-80k at crystal palace. Quadrupled his wage, insane.
