Thought we actually played very well in the first half especially considering how dreadful the cabbage patch of a pitch was. Passed it confidently and with much more pace and purpose then Wednesday. Really should have been 3 or 4 up at half time. The second half was much more scrappy but their goal was literally the only effort they had on target the whole game and over the 90 minutes that was a very comfortable win. Rogic once again was excellent and credit Abada not just his 2 goals but a vastly improved performance from him in his all round play today.

The game felt a lot slower than usual. There was a period of about 20-30 minutes that St Johnstone tried to make a game of it but apart from that it seemed like a casual kick about at the local park for Celtic. It should have been a lot harder with all those key players out.

Having said that, I wonder if Ange has found the solution to the low block being used by sides in Scotland or if he was forced into playing the 1-3-5-2. It seemed to work very well, especially because Juranovic and Scales didn't have to transition too much which meant there was an overload in the final third. Keen to see it again against these sort of sides.

I cancelled 2 years ago mate. The guy I was talking to couldn't believe I was cancelling. He kept asking me if I was a true football fan as I was giving up the ,(im his words), the best sports package ever. After telling him many times I wasn't giving any more money to the over-hyped English game and telling him his channel was nothing more than a hun loving channel, he eventually believed I wanted to cancel. Best thing I've done. I hate SKY with a passion

    Why does it say 2-1?
