The context of the game definitely does open up scope for resting Kyogo and potentially others now.

I've always been of the opinion that we should always start with out strongest eleven as we can't take any opposition for granted no matter how depleted they appear. If we then manage to go two goals in front, then take the likes of Kyogo and Rogic off to give them a rest. Winning our games just now is our No.1 priority and resting our players needs to be 2nd

Kyogo is carrying a hamstring strain, he is for all intents and purposes injured and therefore shouldn’t play unless absolutely required - which he isn’t against St Midden’s B team.

He should know himself if he was 100% or not and, if there was the slightest doubt then yes, rest him. So, apart from Kyogo (if he's not 100%) then the strongest team to get the job done then have the luxury of making changes. Must win game again no matter who we are playing or what state they are supposed to be in

Although, if an announcement is made that brings the winter break forward it may give us scope for taking more of a risk if we need to. They will be rested afterwards.

Definitely, albeit Kyogo is a specific case because he is hampered and it’s an injury that could get progressively worse in an instant.

I was thinking something similar myself. I suspect though that if the winter break is brought forward it will include tomorrows games as well. We will see.

Think they might want tomorrows games to go ahead then we are all on the same games played.

I think if it is brought forward then it’ll be from the same day as the new restrictions come into force

Given St Mirren are on board with moving the winter break forward as well I would be fine if it was postponed.

Wait, are folk genuinely advocating St Midden reserves is a more important game than the cup final???

Every league game is huge but let’s not act daft ffs.
