Don't see why anyone with a home game during this period wouldn't want it brought forward.

Aberdeen are playing the huns at Pittodrie. No chance they'll be happy with 500 fans through the turnstiles for that one!

St Mirren will want any break at any time as they're ravaged at the mo.

Dundee Utd have two home games, one against Hibs. They'll want fans for that one.

St Johnstone play us at McDiarmid Park. They'll want our supporters there as it's a big pay day for them.

Ross County have two home games - one against Motherwell and the other against Aberdeen. They'll want supporters in for those games, especially Aberdeen.

Dundee host the Dundee Derby on the 2nd. No chance they want 500 supporters in for that one when they would sell out for it.

These clubs need it for the money, it's for survival.

Hearts are away in the Edinburgh Derby and the huns have to visit us. They'll be pushing for cancellation. But only for their self interest of gaining an unsporting advantage. * both these clubs. I hope they both go bust.

Aberdeen were the first club to release a statement im sure, saying it would cost them £500k to play their games without fans. Glass also said the decision by the government doesnt make any sense to him.

You can understand clubs looking after their own interests, but the common denomenator for all is the financial side of things, why play a game with no crowd when you can play the same game a short time later with supporters, providing much needed revenue for clubs.

As I say, glass doesn’t agree with the decision - club on a run, as a manager happy to keep that going. I’d be the same.Board? Skint. Need money - may well go with the early winter window

People shoulda realised they gave up ther rights to freedom wen the accepted vaccine passports,we talk about black lives matter and bang on about the discrimination they had to endure along with all other horrific injustices yet today as we try to highlight those actions, we are allowing the very same thing without standing against this .

Glass saying that I personally read as him NOT wanting it.

Board may well will, again as I’m thinking dude. Money talks.

Thinking about it…. This is the ‘cinch premiership’….

… so the Huns shouldn’t even get a say in the matter since they don’t see fit to follow the rules that everyone else follows anyway.

Unless there are even greater measures ahead to be applied , that are already known but kept within .

Extending the winter break is a common sense measure, but as we know the SFA and SPFL are a bit short in that area.

    100% correct.

Suicial for any club to do otherwise. Money talks and it's idiotic to sacrifice huge attendances and the finances it brings just for the sake of carrying on the fixture lists.

It would make absolute sense for us, I'm not sure for all clubs. I can see them bottling it and putting it to a vote like they did before knowing the vote will go the way of not bringing it forward..

Would you agree there could be something more sinister if they won't agree to break earlier for winter ?and this is forced to happen.

I still can’t get around the logic of this. Why does it start after Christmas if it’s such a “super-spreader”? Also there is only 1 week/2-3 games left after xmas before the winter break, so why did they have to force it in early? Why 500, where did that number come from? Is there a calculation or some science behind it or was just plucked out of someone *!? (So far) the English are not having and doesn’t look likely to have any similar restrictions so what the * point? There are bigger stadiums down there and probably more covid cases down there too.

Can’t really see any logic as to why this was necessary. Of course other than to remove our home advantage for the huns game.

I mean financially, it makes absolute sense for every club. Motherwell and Aberdeen have even stated this.

There will only be two clubs wanting the fixtures to go ahead and its purely down to getting an unsporting advantage over other teams.

If it goes to a vot it'll be a 10/12 in favour of bringing the break forward.

Even a game with 500 fans you would still need security, police and medical in attendance, it's makes zero sense to do this when we have a time frame that would allow us to re-schedule.

Also from the likes of sky's point of view, as much as they have a disdain for Scottish fitbaw, you would think they want to air the best possible product, not a game that resembles a training exercise, football is a spectator sport.
