Tony Hawks Pro Skater 1+2. Picked this up on the PS store sale along side The Outer Worlds (not played this yet).

Throwback to back in the day and great fun!

Did not expect to be saying this especially when it was first announced but having just beat guardians of the galaxy I have to say its easily my GOTY. Fun combat, great graphics and an excellent story with strong writing.
It takes influence from several games particularly uncharted and mass effect and blends them really well. Highly recommended .

Spotted a copy of Sleeping Dogs in CEX the other day. Hadn’t played it in years so bought it for 30 Bob. Easily one of the best open world games ever. Even the side missions are engaging and the graphics for the time were really good, one of the most vibrant worlds ever created.

Apparently initial sales were terrible so Square Enix shelved a sequel. What a tragedy.

Quality game, completed it on the Xbox One and then grabbed the definitive edition for free on Games with Gold but haven't given it another run through yet.

Downloaded Among Us from game pass, it's actually pretty good, I wasn't expecting much to be fair

    Fortnite.

My 2 kids love it, more so my son, he loves everything Fortnite.
I've always played games with them and I enjoy the game for what it is, we're actually pretty good at it.

The new season is really good, there's a new map and now you win gold crown victories.
Basically if you win a Battle Royal, you get a gold crown, if you win the next Battle Royal you win a gold crown victory.
You can also kill someone with a gold crown, pick up the gold crown and then win the Battle Royal and this also gives you a gold crown victory.

I've managed 12 gold crown victories so far, my son who in fairness plays a lot more than me has 21 gold crown victories.

Running through GTA V again. Trevor is one of the greatest characters ever created. Some of the shenanigans he is getting up to when you switch to him is hilarious. The side missions though with the wee old English couple are side splittingly hilarious.

You can play all the Megadrive games on your PC/Laptop with an emulator, it's easy to set up & games look perfect. Google for Genesis/Megadrive emulator and games (ROMS)

I got a decent gaming laptop for the first time a few months ago, so far I have Battlefield 4 & 5 , GTA V, FIFA 22, Doom Eternal, just need more time to play them! Also Forza 4 now downloading but weirdly the one I've been going back to is The Forest!

Been playing tiny Tina wonderlands (new borderlands basically) since it came out. Loads of side missions to do and extras to grab, main story is just a small part of what there is to do. Orange guns are also really really rare so farming is great .
Future DLC already announced , also loads to do post game . Would recommend to anyone who’s played and enjoyed borderlands before .

I'm into strategy games and my favourites are the Total War series of games. I don't think there are any other similar type games available now (unless anyone has any suggestions) and I would be particularly interested to know if there were any WW2 type strategy games you would recommend. I'm not into phantasy or ultra modern type warfare games or shooter type games just the more realistic and perhaps historically accurate ones.
