It turned out that Scotland 1st division Celtic is moving to catch Gamba Osaka midfielder Yosuke Ideguchi (25). Already a formal offer, according to people familiar with the matter. He has left a work visa examination and a medical check, but Celtic is highly praised for preparing a penalty of over 1 million euros (about 130 million yen)

Celtic, who competes in the heading during the Leonesa era, will be appointed by Postecoglou, who was in charge of Yokohama this summer . Japan national team FW Kyogo Furuhashi, who was acquired from Kobe , made a big break, suggesting that more Japanese will join this winter. One of them is a dynamo with abundant momentum, hard defense, and punchy shots. Postecoglou is well aware of his high potential, as he was hit by a strong middle shot in the final qualifying round for the Russian World Cup Asia on August 31, 2017, when he was the coach of the Australian national team. In Leeds (then England 1st Division), which was the first European challenge, he did not get a work visa and repeated a loan transfer to Leonesa (Spain 2nd Division) and Fürth (Germany 2nd Division). He returned to Gamba Osaka in the summer of 19 because he couldn't show his true strength. But IdeguchiHe says he wants to re-challenge Europe, and attention will be focused on the future of negotiations. ◇ Yosuke Ideguchi Born August 23, 1996 (Heisei 8), 25 years old from Fukuoka City, Fukuoka Prefecture. Gamba Osaka Junior Youth-After working at Gamba Osaka Youth, he was promoted to a higher grade in the 14th year of his third year of high school. On April 16th of the same year, he made his official debut at the Nabisco Cup / Sagan Tosu match. J1's first goal in the match against Nagoya on September 17, 2016. A national team's first goal in the Asian final qualifying match against Australia on August 31, 2017. International A match 15 games 2 goals. 1 meter 71, 71 km. right handed.

CELTIC are eyeing a January move for Japan midfielder Yosuke Ideguchi.

SunSport understands Hoops boss Ange Postecoglou is keen on the 25-year-old Gamba Osaka star.

Capped 15 times, Ideguchi earned a big move to Leeds United in 2018 — but failed to make an impact at Elland Road.

He returned to Gamba Osaka 18 months later after loan spells in Spain and Germany — and has impressed with his box-to-box style.

Celtic are keen to bring him in next month as Postecoglou looks to raid the Japanese market again after the success of Kyogo Furuhashi.

The Parkhead boss is also close to a £1million-plus deal for Kawasaki Frontale’s utility man Reo Hatate.

And Japanese reports last night claimed long-term target Daizen Maeda could now arrive on an initial loan deal in January — ahead of a permanent summer switch. The Yokohama F Marinos forward is the J-League’s top scorer and is keen to be reunited with old boss Postecoglou.

Meanwhile, the Parkhead boss has admitted his side’s all-action style makes injuries unavoidable.

Postecoglou is set to be without Jota, Stephen Welsh, Tony Ralston and Giorgos Giakoumakis for today’s lunchtime trip to Dundee United.

Hoops skipper Callum McGregor, Furuhashi, Tom Rogic, James Forrest, Greg Taylor and Carl Starfelt have also missed chunks of this season.

Postecoglou said: “We’re playing so many games that some wear and tear is inevitable.

“Couple that with how we play our football and how we train.

“And it’s always a fine line between pushing the guys to the maximum and trying to ensure we don’t overload them.

“With so many games and our squad being limited in certain areas, some of the guys are having to back up.

“It’s the risk you run when you try to do things the way we do.”

Celts will play nine games in December alone, including the Premier Sports Cup final against Hibs at Hampden.

Postecoglou said: “When I was in Japan, particularly during the Covid year, we had an extreme situation and it does take its toll.

“It detracts from the spectacle when players are having to get back up every three or four days.

“At the same time we are trying to get the squad robust enough to handle that.

“We are in three competitions in this period, a cup final and playing in Europe.

“That’s a further burden but it’s one we’d rather have than not.

“We know what we need and that’s what we are working towards.”

So he's a box to box player then?

What I read about him is he is a box to box player who, likes to get stuck in and has a good strike from distance. High energy type player.

When he broke through in 2017 he was a regular full international in their busy type midfield.

He got signed by Leeds based on his form and performances both in the J league and National side and was viewed as a rising star. However, he couldn’t get a work permit at the time and was loaned out a couple of times and had a bad injury. He went back to Gamba Osaka and had a good 2020 season scored a few and assisted a few, but has apparently not played well this year.

Be interesting to see if this signing is based on what Ange saw in last years J league and also at international level years ago as he scored against his Oz team.

Does seem an Ange type player, energetic, gets stuck in and carries a threat but where Maeda and Hatate have been stand outs in the J League 2021, he hasn’t been and some local commentators are expressing surprise at this one.

Just watched a 12 min highlight video.

He looks a * nightmare to play against. Won't get many goals but solid in possession and breaks things up. Fast and energetic.

He also looks to have a hammer of a shot on him from around the edge of the box. My only concern is there is quite a few people who regularly provide comment on the J League saying there are so many other centre mids you would pick before him but there’s obviously something Ange likes about him.

I feel like Misao is a better choice for our team but would love Ideguchi to turn good for us if only to annoy Leeds.

Apparently this guy was * hot 3 years ago. A move too early and an injury has set him back. Supposed to have been woeful last season as well.

Yep I knew that or at least hoped transfermarkt was still correct on that. A midfield of Misao, McGregor, Rogic just looks better than McGregor, Ideguechi, Rogic
