Dundee United 0 - 3 Celtic

Should have beaten them comfortably in the first game but we didn’t. It will be harder away against them as I imagine they will try be solid and hit us on the counter and given we will likely be missing Jota, the two wingers are a question mark for us tomorrow.

If Jota isn’t playing we need a big game from the midfield 3 in terms of creativity.

 

Think they have Fuchs and Levitt out from their central midfield. They were really impressive..

They've hit a slump and I fancy us to win this fairly well. Won't be easy but think we'll win it by a couple. 2 nil or 3-1. Rogic and Carter-Vickers to score..

 

I remember Fuchs from the first game. Got away with a red card challenge in the first half and then went on to have a man of the match display defensively for them so that will be a big miss for them.

Levitt was outstanding on the ball as well. On loan from Man United and looked class. I'd be keeping an eye on him..

Their form has dipped since both have been out, unsurprisingly..

Mulgrew has been excellent for them at the back but with his lack of pace, and their engine room being depleted....I expect Rogic to be making a few breaks on goal and Kyogo pulling their centre halves all over the place..

Massive game and I fancy us. Get this out the way and we can rest player's on Thursday. Have a good game at home to Motherwell on the Sunday. Dingwall in the following midweek and then Hibs cup final..

This is the trickiest league game til the 19th. Where we should have 2, hopefully 3 of our injured boy's from Thursday back..

 

No Fuchs for them is massive.

We're without Jota, Welsh and Ralston. Two of those have been our some of our best players this year.

Brutal.

We have enough though to make this comfortable. No excuses.

Carter-Vickers and Starfelt back is our main centre half partnership just now and Rogic back in the middle makes us at our strongest at present with that trio..

Kyogo starting which he never played last time if I remember right..

Can't see how their midfield copes with us with their engine room dismantled and creativity...with a lot of pace gone....meaning easier to bypass to get to a slow Mulgrew at the back..

The key? Tam on the half turn beating his man and running towards the penalty box = goalscoring chances for somebody..

 

A Robertson - Roome double act tomorrow I noticed…

Hopefully we will be good enough to outweigh their ‘infkuence’.

I can see us struggling a bit today with players out, its up to the players that come in to step up. We are going to be a bit weaker on the left with Jota out, he brings us so much attacking options. Not sure what Ange will do, put Forest left with Abada right or play MJ left and leave Forest right. If MJ starts then he really needs to take the opportunity, he hasnt shown much since his return. Got a feeling Taylor may start as well with Juranovic going back to the right with Ralston out. A goal less first half but coming out 2-0 winners. COYBIG

Would have Johnson nowhere near this team, the boy is not good enough had many chances. Scales deserves his chance he's only person who has not really had a chance.

 

Larsson is out injured. Broke his leg.

 

Hope we score a 9 yard offside goal that's actually offside this time and still counts. Get it right up them!!!

Think kyogo will score 3 today. All the attack with go through the middle now with jota out so they'll be hitting his runs more often creating more opportunities.

 

Hopefully Kyogo gets a soft penalty as well.

Think it's going to be very tough today with the injuries and lack of depth but I am still going to go 2-1 away win. Mon the hoops!

 

Not buying it. We have a much better team available than a full strength Dundee Utd.
