I find it incredible that people are criticising MJ yet Forrest gets a free pass as 'just back from injury' isn't MJ just back from injury too? Guessing the double standards keep on rolling.

He has 3. 5 years left on his contract, he needs a loan move. At the moment he is behind Abada and I also feel Monty is a better winger. He should go on loan, I'm sure he could get game time at Aberdeen or Motherwell. Maybe a year or 18 months time he will be ready.

 

Think he is feeling the weight of expectation, he clearly is lacking confidence from his re introduction has slipped back to thinking too much instead of going for it , felt he would be a good yin for us and has it in him but he has to find it fast cauz this is his chance .

 

Needs to rethink his style i think. The tricky skillful winger thing ain't working for him.

 

Forrest is getting pelters in his thread. At least he went by a Hearts player a few times tbf. MJ lost the ball every time he had it, so easily as well.

 

Not writing him off but needs to get going this season

 

With 60000 fans tutting and moaning every time you get the ball and not do something with it, that usually has that kind of impact on players sadly. Actually feel sorry the guy.

 

You didn't mention the fans at the game though. You were talking about on here ....

 

He scores a few the next game that will get him going

 

When he first come back from injury he was making an impact when he was coming off the bench. The last few times he has been poor though, and tonight was probably as bad as he has been since returning. It’s hard to give him too much of a hard time though as he hasn’t had a run in the team. He hasn’t earned it either mind you, but it’s not easy to impress in short spells, especially in a game like tonight when it was played at a very high tempo, and we were on the back foot when he come on. Wouldn’t write him off yet, but he needs to show far more than he did tonight.

 

He was hiding tonight. Didn’t want the ball at throw ins etc. Thought he was really poor.

 

I think his confidence has been badly affected by his injury together with his shocking treatment by NL a while back which would shatter any young players confidence. Hopefully he regains some form and starts producing the football we know he can.

 

Seems like he's forgot how to beat a man

 

Hasn't kicked a ball since he came back at all yet, looks soft and off the pace. Used to be quite dynamic and beat players with ease now he hesitates and slows things down.

Every touch he had when he came on the night never amounted to nothing when you feel 2/3 years ago he'd probably have scored one of those couple of chances he was able to cut in.

 

A waste of a jersey

 

Think this will be his last season.

He'd be decent at other clubs but just doesn't have what it takes to be here.

 

Gets caught in 3 minds whether to take a man on , pass it back, or cross ; and ends up falling over himself or leaving the ball behind because he is making it up as he goes.
