I reckon it’s a case of some moron getting a shot of his pal’s season ticket, given it was a midweek game in December.

The Green Brigade hasn't form for throwing objects.

You know how this is getting spun. Same yob fans want Higgins out. Can see the board smiling at that tonight. Stupid thing to do.

Frustrating is the word I'd use. At a time when the fan groups are trying to put together a campaign on a serious issue in the rejection of Higgins, they are set back by the inevitable media * storm due to some daft wee * throwing bottles.

The stupidity * staggers me beyond belief.

Games in France have been stopped this season for the same thing. If McKay goes down then the same outcome could have happened. Fair play to him for taking it and playing on by the way.

Hope whoever it was gets an outright ban. Diminishes any other messages that the fans were trying to get across through the game.

Undoes a lot of the impact of protests, and overshadows some of the good work done. Hope the folk throwing stuff are happy with their showing this morning, mugs.

The objects being thrown was disgraceful behaviour. There are a handful of people out there, I won't call them fans because they don't seem bothered about the reputation of the club, who, it seems, won't be happy until they get us in serious trouble, and then, having done so will, no doubt, play the victim. Idiots.

Not sticking up for anyone as throwing stuff is moronic behaviour be it paper, coins or bottles. But the officials stoked that last night by the absolute ridiculously bad officiating, every bad decision stoked the crowd a little more.

No matter how bad the officials were and they were bad, no doubt it about it, but, blaming them, or at least partly blaming them is akin to victim blaming.

Everyone is responsible for their own actions and should be able to control said actions. Like has been said previously, the same person would no doubt be up in arms if it happened to one of our players.

    It was his own fault.

Why was he on the pitch? Wasn't he supposed to be off the Real Madrid or Man City?

Funny how with all this tension between the GB/fans and the board over the Higgins appointment that bottles are getting thrown from the standing section, which is a first,if it’s happened before I can’t recall?Idiotic behaviour in the middle of a long drawn out protest with a lot of effort put into it so far.

Things were getting thrown for the previous corners too. Looked to be mostly drink cups but doubt they were empty given how far they got chucked. Obviously more than just one person. Stewards went down at corners after the first time but not a lot they can do.

McKay was complaining to Madden at one point as he was going over to take a corner. Might have been the one the bottle hit him.

Didn't look happy at what he was having to put up with and sad to say I'd have to agree with him.

Echo a lot of what's already been said here, stupid behaviour and you'd think those of a respectable intelligence around them would have called the * out and told them to * off given how it reflects on that section as a whole.
