So difficult to make an impact from the bench..

 

That's his position this year though. If he can't do that were does he fit in this season with Jota first choice?

 

Bad night but will try to reserve judgement. Some players need time to get back at it after an injury. Coming on against a team like Leverkusen is no small task.

 

Needs to take chances when the come.. Its all he can do..

But to come on in a game like this, very difficult..

It does however, feel like a make or break season for him tho.

 

Think his time is up if we are honest, he has had more than enough time to break into the first 11 but something always goes wrong.

 

I agree with all that but no turning away from it he needs to make it happen, we can't.

He's our most exciting flair player since McGeady and would love him to make it but really it's in his hands.

1, 5, 20 or 90 minutes it's in his hands. Would love him to do it

 

Clock is ticking Mikey and think he's got to the end of the season to show something or think we find him another club as there too many passengers in this squad and another reason why we lost tonight .

 

Really starting to fear for him.
Ideal for him to come on at a stage when defenders are starting to flag and like last weekend at Hampden, he was unable to make an impact, just seems to be a one trick pony, get the ball and just run it up a blind ally.

Difficult to make any impact when he’s got the strength of a mouse. Far too lightweight and not quick enough either.

When he beats a man he ends up trying to beat them again because he can’t hold them off or run away from them.

I thought he could be a right player for us but everything I’ve seen his return from injury tells me otherwise.

Abada very similar but he’s stuck the ball in the net enough since coming to make me think he will come good with the right coaching. Abada 2 years younger as well.

 

He’s always been pretty mediocre.

At 22, he’s the same age as Jota and three years older than Abada.

No doubt we’ll keep him on and folk will refer to him as a ‘youngster’ for years.

My post might sound harsh on the lad but we need to be harsh.

We lost the game last night because the subs coming on weren’t good enough. Knocked out of EL as a result of that.

We need to stop persisting with players who aren’t cutting it and replace them players who can add quality to the squad.

I’d loan him out and see how he gets on. As of now, we need better!

 

No gonna happen for me.

It must be hard coming back from such lengthy spell injured but I we dont think we can afford to wait for....shows promise. And he can't sit on the bench.

He’s always flattered to deceive, last time he had a run of games was December 2019 and ended it with a complete bottle job at home to the Huns. He’s never going to make it here

 

He square's that 2 on 1 and we win the game..

I'm been one of his biggest fan for year's but he looks to be falling away and I can see why he frustrates people..

So talented but weak and doesn't lift his head enough..

 

Depending on what happens in Jan I'd look to loan him out for the rest of the season. Hopefully that might help him.

 

He is woeful. Not sure if it was a confidence thing but he was brutal. 100% passing rate ..... to Hearts players.
