You learn nothing winning 4-5-nil but you learn a lot grinding out a 1 nil and lady luck strikes again with injuries. 3 points and we move on to Betis is it? Time for a few players to grab a Jersey.

    Sunday my bad lol

Disappointing second half, but a wins a win. Hopefully Ralston, Jota & Welsh are alright, it would be a massive blow to lose all three given the absolute fixture pileup.

Starfelt MOTM for me, he was rock solid from beginning to end.

Personally think the ref letting hearts kick * out our players all game took us out our rhythm... we 100% miss a player like brown to give it back

Another game when we have put together a great 45 minutes but then ran out of steam a bit. We need to be far more clinical. The free header from the corner could just as easily have cost us 2 points tonight, when in truth the game should have been over at that point anyway. A win was imperative after they * winning last night, and we have managed that. The injuries are a worry, especially Jota. Hopefully it was cramp and not a hamstring pull. Rogic, McGregor and Starfelt were the standouts I thought.

    * sake what a roller coaster. First half was as good as we've played this season at times. Familiar problem in that we weren't nearly clinical enough though.

The injuries really * us, can only hope they're not serious but I won't hold my breath.

There were some very good performances I thought, Rogic MOM for me, thought Turnbull, Kyogo and Starfelt were really good. Welsh was doing well until his injury.

Just sheer idiocy from the people launching stuff. Achieves absolutely * all aside from maybe fines/bans so congrats on that.

Starfelt, Rogic and Juranovic were outstanding all game for me. Really tough game but a deserved 3 points.

Frustrated by our reluctance to have a pop around the box though - Forrest, Turnbull and Rogic all taking three or four touches before pulling the trigger by which time they're crowded out.

Hopefully the injuries aren't too bad, particularly Ralston and Jota will be big misses if either are out long term. Maybe the Betis hake being a dead rubber will turn out to be a blessing in disguise.

You can't underestimate how huge that win was for us. 3 players off injured, on the ropes with ten minutes to go but somehow hung in there and in the end could have scored another ourselves. Massive 3 points. This is the type of win that can take you to a league title

ffs we need to stop doing this, my hearth is suffering :giggle1:

We need to be more clinical. Played some great football but multiped times this season now, we had to fear a draw because we wasted too many chances. We also can't rely on referees not * as over !

Only Celtic can make such hard work of it. Should have been out of sight at half time.

Tbh I don't think the subs helped, all 3 forced. No way on earth Forrest was seeing much more action, if Jota didn't pull up he would have been hooked. Then you have Welsh having to come off, Turnbull/Rogic would have been taken off to freshen up.

The luck were having this season is brutal, but could be due to the football were playing burning out players without having a strong enough squad to do it.

Was shiteing myself for a good ten mins when we got they injuries, was looking pretty ominous interested of holding out. But the boys weathered it and got themselves back on top, and by the end were steamrollering them again. That to me, given the replacements we had to make, is absolutely massive. The heart and desire we missed so badly last season is back with a vengeance.

I just hope the injuries aren't long term. I know most managers just play in-form players, but tonight shows the need to rotate.
