Something different. Long time since we played Alloa. 2016 in the League Cup was the last time although that was at home so the last time we played away against Alloa was all the way back in 2002 when we won 5-0. Something similar would be nice:60:

Celtic have been drawn away against Alloa Athletic in the fourth round of the Scottish Cup, with the game scheduled for the weekend of January 22 – the first match back after the winter break.

Celtic’s last away game against Alloa was nearly 20 years ago, also on Scottish Cup duty, but with the game played at Falkirk’s former Brockvillle Stadium, back on January 8, 2002 when goals from Bobo Balde, Morten Wieghorst, Shaun Maloney, Bobby Petta and Momo Sylla delivered a 5-0 win.

The most recent meeting, though, was a League Cup tie at Celtic Park in 2016, won by two late goals from James Forrest and Moussa Dembele.

Is this the first game after the winter break?

First taste of the Scottish Cup for Ange and some players.

Risky game for our skillful players. Plastic pitch, lower league opposition players and a hun in charge. A strong referee would protect players on the pitch... but we know how likely that is!

A good opportunity to get some mins for new players that we may have by then.
However, we need to be professional and start with a strong enough team to keep our cohesion. Kill the game off early and utilise the bench.
Is it 5 subs allowed for the cup?
