There is far, far, more to Kyogo in the make up of this side than finishing. Shocking it most definitely isn’t.

If he stops forcing mistakes with his energy and work rate we’ve got a problem but until then as long as others are scoring goals it’s not even a footnote issue. He’ll always score goals.

It’s not a criticism of him. It’s an observation that he’s not being given enough service.

There’s been a number of games already this season where it feels like he barely has a touch. We need to find ways to get better service to him. If we do, the numbers he gets will be phenomenal.

Didn’t take it to be a criticism of him, took it to be a criticism of the make up of the side.

Rogic being back will aid the lack of quality balls through to him as would more depth in the playmaker position but he doesn’t need to be scoring every week to be a key component of our side.

CELTIC could be handed a major boost for their key fixtures after the winter break after Japanese FA chief Kozo Tashima revealed they will accept any decision that could ban their foreign-based stars, including Kyogo Furuhashi, from playing in two key World Cup qualifiers.

Furuhashi had looked set to miss Celtic's crunch matches at Tynecastle against Hearts and at home to Dundee United after the winter break in January.

Japan have two crunch World Cup qualifiers against China and Saudi Arabia at home at the end of January as they battle to get to the Qatar finals.

They have also just organised a friendly against Uzbekistan in the week leading up to the first game.

However, Japan has now closed its borders because of concerns over the spread of the new Omicron variant of Covid.

And JFA president Tashima has revealed he will play the matches with only Japanese-based players if their government refuses to allow any of their foreign-based stars to travel to the game.

He said: "We will comply with whatever the wishes of the government are for these World Cup matches. If we are not allowed to use our European-based players, then we will use the domestic players instead.

"It's too early to confirm what restrictions will be in place by then at this stage."

What will happen is he'll be allowed to travel but we'll have new 8 day isolation rules thatll put him out for weeks. Celtic luck.

Can you imagine we had Naka in his prime, with the cutting passes he made from midfield? The chemistry between them would have been off the charts

The Wee Man is Def suffering from a lack of decent service and a game plan of crossing high balls into the box. Possibly needing Rogic back to unpick those tight defences for him.

Though he looked a little jaded on Sunday but understandable without a break all year. Hopefully Giakoumakis can come in and give him a rest.

He has been so isolated recently and can see he is frustrated. Tam and Forrest will bring him more into play and also Bitton. But, with every passing game, we have no other option, so important we bring in a striker in Jan that can hit the ground running, not our usual "take time to get match fit/up to speed"'

Wee hun * that messaged on it pointing out a piece of rubbish on the ground, saying 'you've missed a bit'.
This is why I no longer have Twitter.

It’s the fact that people like Turnbull only notice the run once he’s made it and by the time he’s made the pass kyogo is caught offside, someone like Rogic sees it as he’s about to make it and can play the ideal through pass
Know it’s kyogo but big tam on form and fit is a massive boost not just to his game but to everyone else around him turnbull included

before he got injured was on fire at Easter road and probably the best performance of the season in first half there and best performance at Easter road for years

Class from the wee man tonight again.

One gripe would be that off camera * with Souttar, falling to the floor. He needs to cut things like that out otherwise he’s eventually going to be red carded for it.

Gives players the fear knowing he will do that. If he just takes everything they will dish it. If you know they will drop you tend to avoid hitting them.

Every player does it. What about concentrating on players having fly digs at him off the ball and getting away with it ?

They’ll start doing it anyway and the refs will ignore it ‘because he has a history’. He needs to rap it

So much love for Kyogo. It feels special when he scores. Like seeing a Henrik Larsson goal in the flesh. In the passing of time. He's going to go down in the history books. You know it. I know it. Enjoy him while he's here. A special player.
