    No surprise to see him in the Bundesliga team of the year so far. I think he'll move on from Leverkusen within the next 2/3 years.

    From what I've seen he has mate.

    A few of us were saying on here last season that he just wasn't being used/coached correctly and he had several levels to go up. Leverkusen have clocked that and are clearly working on him now. Naturally he will get better playing in a better league, with better players and just generally growing up a bit.

    Said it before on here but the model we really should be adopting is THE place to be for developing young players. Top coaches, top facilities etc.

    Other teams should be looking at our players and saying, "He spent two years developing at the Celtic academy". That should be our model for now.

    He is an excellent player that will get better but not a proper defender for me atm. Played a bit further forward and he could do damage.

    Btw most of our productive attacking was down the Wee mans wing by Jota.

    See so many people getting bitter about players leaving in recent years. He’s a young boy with no links to Celtic who got the opportunity to move to a top club in a top league, and both us and him made good money from it.

    Besides that, he had clearly stagnated here. He has the ability to play at a very, very high level.
