Anonymous tonight and again in the cup semi final. Needs to start performing again. So glad Forrest is back.

Mind people said he was better than Forrest :giggle1:

Wow man. He’s horrendous 1 on 1. Aside from an odd cross or shot his technique is miles off it.

Technically very poor. 1st touch is non existent, doesn't have the ability to take a man on and beat him. He needs to be fed in behind and if he isn't he offers nothing. No where near Forrest.

A 20 year old should be able to play simple passes regularly without giving the ball away, or dribble past a defender every now and then.

His technical ability is * awful for a winger.

    This.

Players at 20 don’t improve their technique dramatically unless they were late comers to football.

And especially not to the point that he’s going to suddenly start beating people consistently which is kind of key for a winger.

For a winger, he never beats a player. Unless he's scoring and high on confidence then he's offering nothing.

Technique isn’t his issue, decision making is. It’s not key for the type of winger he is, so he should stop trying to do it. Use his positioning, drag players away, his movement can cause havoc so that’s the way he needs to use it. Improve his upper body strength so he’s not easily bullied, pass and move. Got loads we can improve him on with the skillset he has, writing him off is insane.

Mate he can barely keep possession of the football.

It’s not decision making that stops him controlling simple passes.

Technique has nothing do with movement, upper body strength. Him putting on some weight and dragging defenders away isn’t going to suddenly make him control a ball better.

To me it’s his strength, under any slight bit of pressure he doesn’t, think his first touch can be superb but it’s when he isn’t being leaned or has space.

Look at Kyogo and Jota they have enough strength to hold people off to use their technique.

Forrest was just as bad as him tonight. Not having this bias toward Forrest because of what he’s done before. He was shocking tonight. Abada can and will improve.

Bullshit, Forrest defensively was * tremendous and his flick on for the 2nd goal was unreal awareness. Absolute bollocks statement.

How does his strength stop him controlling passes and having poor touches when no one is touching him?

Kyogo and Jota are on another level entirely technically. It’s nothing to do with their strength.

It's clearly a massive problem. He can't pass to a teammate.

Constantly gives the ball away. And again, considering he plays in a position where he's tasked with getting past defenders and creating chances, he has no tricks up his sleeve at all.

Forrest isn't one for coming out with a step over or a drag back, but he's mega comfortable on the ball. Abada offers neither.

I'd like to see him played elsewhere, maybe behind the striker? I don't think he's suited for the wings.

This is it. Aye Jota is maybe a unique talent in terms of at a club like us, but you compare him with Abada and it's night and day.

Look at what Jota offers down that side. Trickery, goals, assists, link up etc. What does Abada do on the other side? Arrives late in the box for a goal every once in a while.

I think that’s a major exaggeration, he’s fine when he’s not in amongst players. Which is a major problem in itself but not having this writing him off :56:

    Scatterguns major out tonight
