Strange they are looking for someone to take the job until the end of the season.
I would think then they already have someone in place for the job but that person wants to wait until the summer before taking over or they have no idea who they want!

I did read that Rodgers wanted the job but wanted to wait until the summer before taking over.
That would be the smart move for him, Utd are a mess right now and no good can come from taking the job now, the January transfer market is usually crap to do deals and what would honestly be a success this season now?
He would be lucky to get a CL place.

Take over at the end of the season and start fresh would be the smart move.

Typical Man Utd though, when Poch was available they stuck with Ole even when he was clearly out his depth, he would have been a great fit for them.
Even sticking with Ole when Conte was available.
Honestly, Man Utd are Man Utd's worst enemy!

I don't see any top manager touching them until the end of the season and either they know that or they already have the guy lined up to take over then.

No sour grapes, I wanted him at the time but * me....watched that game there and he played an attacking looking team, then sat back til 2 down, 70 minute's in..

Was utterly bizzare. St Maxi what's his face. Wilson. Joellinton up top. Fraser right wing and 2 in the middle.....yet they were utterly pathetic for the most part and only went for it a bit when the game was lost..

We may no always get it right with Ange but his football looks night and day. I do take in to account Howe is just in the door though but still..
