I was against this and still have some reservations but he's heading in the right direction for me

While we are winning it'll be great/fine no problem, the minute it goes wrong it'll be a failure at board level so no risk for Ange overall.

 

Actually struggling to grasp the amount of positivity he's managed to generate within the club in so little time, especially given that we haven't even won anything or even gone top of the league at any point yet. I'm reeling myself in on it, but it's * contagious right now, and if we lift the cup after only 5-6months of the guy being here, and get right on 1st in the league, or even in front, the atmosphere will be unbelievable...

 

Certainly bad, for a variety of reasons.

First of which to have some succession planning for when he leaves, with the average manager tenure 3-4 seasons.

Secondly to free him up to do the work on the training pitch that we hire him to do and that he has experience in.

There's no reason he can't have some input in signings like he obviously had with Kyogo but for other matters like scouts, data analysts, physios, sports scientists - it should be left to a DOF.

Hopefully we get movement on that front soon but it has certainly went a little quiet since the summer.

Decent enough interview... feel big ange lost interest a wee bit. Might be an unpopular opinion as well but their accents are cringe as * lol not the best interviewers.

 

I think it is the attacking style which he is looking to have us play with that is a big part of it. You can see we still have a long ways to go yet but likewise you can see what he is trying to do and if he pulls it off and wins the title with us we are going to be doing it with some style and swagger.
Plus I think we all like how he doesn't take any * from the MSM and their usual pro sevco anti Celtic bias.

Good interview, pity it wasn't longer, as he's great to listen to. Si Ferry clearly likes his style, can tell the way he's looking and talking to him, he's a big fan of his management style/tactics.

Paul Slane asking him 'so did you know about Kyogo before ?'

 

Just hope he gets the transfer window he wants also getting Jotta tied up. If not it could all change back to the bad old days. The Germans are on panic mode now get them back where they belong
