Forrest on for Abada and get the midfield playing quicker and less sloppy

Need to move the ball quicker at key moments. Not really taking advantage when St Johnstone do stretch themselves. Turnbull playing it far too safe again.

That referee must have been told to book bitton at the first opportunity. Crazy how he gets a yellow for his first foul when you consider some of the challenges he's let they hammer throwers away with.

Missing big tam big style in a game like this, first 5 minutes aside been pretty poor
Turnbull should have buried that first chance

The physical summary of our possession that half was Joe Hart almost getting caught out. Several of our players have a mentality that they should get as long as they want to do something. * knows where that comes from, presumably it’s a side affect of the pressure-managing mentality.

Other than the first 10 minutes when Turnbull should have scored we have been pish. Tippy tappy, backwards, side ways with no pace. Trying to walk it up the park, Hart got awaybwith one. They have carried out their game plan to a man and if we don't get sorted we are going to lose this to a set piece. We have got behind teams for the most part of the season by playing one touch at pace, why the * have the players decided to go out for a stroll today? We really need to get the finger out

Bitton off, don’t trust him with a yellow. Jamesy on. We’re not working the keeper enough.

Abada far too quiet again, its only Ralston who is contributing anything down the right side. Abada is only 20 and will be inconsistent but we are Celtic and cant afford to be carrying players in semi-final. The quicker Forrest gets up to speed the better.

They'll more than fancy their chances with set pieces though, and rightly so.
We need to up the tempo, massively.

Turnbull is becoming a frustrating player, he should be doing more. As for that miss, no excuse.

St Johnstone are well drilled, they’ve been preparing for this game for 2 weeks now. We’ll break them down eventually.

Since few league games it's the one major thing we lack for some reason.

At first it was attributed to McGregor and kyogo being out (true), but it's still not quite there.

Good wins, solid run, exciting run, but that tempo and urgency we had back then hasn't quite been reached on a consistent basis since then.

It will come in time though. I'm sure of.

He has a fair few of them in his locker most games. And then he scores.
