£3900 for Chelsea season tickets

Cant say I'd have thought there would be that many tourists prepared to buy a ST that'll be used just a few times a year usually tbh. I'd be more inclined to believe an events company would buy them to sell ongoing but they usually do corporate for that.

 

Read a few years back that the cheapest Arsenal season ticket was dearer than the dearest Man Unt one…………London prices???

 

It would suprise you tbf quite a fair amount of our own have books stay abroad now and come over every so often for games

 

Aye I know we have that, I have a cousin in Donegal who does that and I have a spare ST that is usually used by a different person most home games, but we aren't tourists.

You would imagine their older fans that supported the club before Roman Abramovich will but these new fans(gloryhunters) won't give a *. It's a badge of honour for these * because their club has a rich owner

 

Aye but I'm not surprised by fans who have an attachment to a Club renewing/holding ST's but I would be surprised if its a big thing for tourists to be doing to any meaningful, or tbh, any level at all especially if they are costing thousands a pop.

 

Wouldn't be surprised our board upped the season ticket money to do the same and try and get rid certain trouble makers in their eyes .

 

That’s my point the average working class fan who has followed the team for many a years is being priced out and the figure is not an issue for the folk who are snapping them up as they obviously have money to burn travel packages are also pretty popular

Don’t rate it the hype is overplayed now yer lucky if I catch 4 games a season. I watched the FA cup the other night Stockport & Bolton cracking game of football it had everything, English lower league football is still pretty decent but the EPL has went to fk.

Stuck it on myself with good intentions but as you say the football wasn’t upto much utter Gash wasn’t long before I gave it a pass.

 

Soulless is probably the best word to sum it up mate. Must really * the english teams aff that no matter how much money they spend, there will always be teams like Bayern Munich who are more than capable of giving them a good pumping.
