    waste of a jersey, this is the guy we need to lash in a goal from 30 yards in games like these, but if he cant do that he needs to beat a man and find that defence splitting pass. he did * all except pass it sideways today.

    This is a bit unfair, there was no movement ahead of him to take a defence splitting pass against a packed defence. Couple of opportunities to get a shot off and he didn't but he wasn't a waste of a jersey. Still young and learning too. We massively miss Rogic in games like this though I have to say

    If he had more technical ability — like Jota — he’d be the complete player. I like him a lot, but just lacks that little bit of magic at times.

    So frustrated by him, he looked like a player that you could build a team around then he looks like a Sunday league player.

    I fear that he is just going to be inconsistent like this season for the long term and if that’s the case then I don’t think he will last here.

    I hope that’s not the case.

    We're 2 or maybe even 3 midfielders short at the moment.

    The fact that Turnball is almost undroppable right now has less to do with his ability and more to do with a lack of competition.

    Bitton, Cal Mac and Turnball were our 3 mids at the weekend. Not one of those guys is gonna run through channels and get beyond the striker. All far too static and comfortable playing side passes in front of the opposition.

    We're missing someone like John McGinn.

    Ange screwed up midfield by not replacing Tam with someone like MJ or Gogo. Instead he shuffled to accommodate Bitton, moving DT and CMcG out of their natural positions. DT does not have the attributes to play the Tam position.
