Losing Starfelt is an absolute *, but it's chance for Welsh to step up for the next two games, don't want Bitton anywhere near this.

If you want to rest a few players (this would have been the correct game to do so) then rest Kyogo, Jota and Mcgregor, either way I don't think they'll play anywhere near as bad as they did at Parkhead, going 2-2.

 

Can see this ending in defeat as can see the stuffing being knocked out of us after today. At least for a few days. Think we'll likely bounce back against Dundee next weekend instead. Still though, can always hope for a swift response. Can just see a 2-1 to them. Sorry to be a doom merchant!

Aye league for me, gets people fit and try something new.

 

I want a left-footed player at LB. This is what we have lacked today, and should be rectified for Ferencvaros and the future.

I can see Ang playing bitton at centre half on Thursday and can see either McCarthy or Soro as holding midfield .

Very true, hate these games though after a * result in the league, just feels like an inconvenience for me, can’t wait till next weekend so we can try and rectify today.

 

As much as anything else Welsh deserves another chance - Bitton has let us down at cb far too many times.

 

Would take a draw.

 

Win and we are guaranteed european football past christmas.
Boost coefficient and confidence.
Go onto win league and almost certainly guaranteed straight into CL GS next season.

 

Usual Celtic away performance. Red card and penalty conceded after a blistering start but failing to convert any chances. Bad injury for a key player as well.

Stop playing JJ at LB.
Turnbull in the 10 did not work.

 

Need a big performance from the team to redeem ourselves after yesterday and get a bit of momentum back.

Would like to see the front 3 from the Hibs game start, midfield no idea what to do as Bitton, McCarthy and Soro have all been tried in there and been rotten. Need a performance from McGregor and Turnbull.

Defence I don’t really like Juranovic left back but feel the manager is doing this as it stops a difficult decision on who to play right back and covers the lack of decent options at left back we have.

If your Boli or Scales got to think what’s the point, Montgomery gets a bit of a break here as he has just come through in a new position to him.

We will need to play well to get a result as although we were the better team at home they have a few decent players.

 

Think we're gonna miss Starfelt in this one, he's obviously no VVD but he's been doing well and was building a good partnership with CCV. It's another situation that will now set us back, especially as you just know Bitton is getting the shout ahead of Welsh

I was confident of getting something from this but Rogic and Starfelt getting injured has now put me back to expecting a defeat. As always, will be delighted to have my scepticism rammed down my throat.

Bit of a different lineup but want to see Juranovic on his natural side. Would drop Turnbull and try Abada in the 10 seen as Rogic is out. Scales at LB please.

Just not sure of Abada in the middle. Quite a few people suggesting it but not seeing it as he struggles to get by players in his natural position as it is.

He seems to thrive on balls coming to him quickly from the back or deep midfield so he can run in behind.
