Was going to add that into my post mate, i prefer the old school style management, as you say a few could do with a rocket it up their *, if i have a mess of a day at work i’m told and move on from it. Football players shouldn’t be any different it’s pathetic the way they are these days. Just my opinion though.

    This.

If we sign a proper good midfielder in January we'll win the league. If not, it's less likely

Surely at 6' 1" you would be looking for Giakoumakis to get on the end of some of these balls. Tony Ralston played some nice balls over but there was no one there, some of them were screaming out for a player to make a run to the near post. The performance of Giakoumakis in general was worrying, reminded me of a bigger version of Albian Ajeti. Please tell me we havent signed yet another dud striker, we seem to specialise in signing strikers that are simply not good enough (with the obvious exception of Kyogo). Its too early to say but he needs to do more, show some aggression and desire to get on the end of all those crosses you mention.

If the options in midfield are so bad then why persist with the same formation when we don't have the players why not stick Kyogo on and go 2 up top we all knew they would have 11 begind the ball anyway.

That being said I actually thought Bitton was ok today and I * hate him

We were crying out for our full backs to get on the overlap today but with our inverted style we we're overloading the middle. They were happy to sit back. That negated the inverted full backs which is invariably used to hem a team in that want to get out. Livi were happy to stick 10 men behind the ball. Bit one trick pony.

He should be playing Boli at left back to give us that natural width on the overlap..

I agree, ralston hasn’t really put a foot wrong but i can’t help feeling playing juranovic in his natural position would be far better and then obvious player to come in at left back would be Bolingoli.

The Huns dumped them out of the cup 3-0.

They are an absolutely revolting side, one of the worst I've seen in the top flight in well over 20 years but it's us who seem to struggle most against them.

    Ange in particular.

As much as I think he's rotten the way he is being treated is weird

They should be battling for that spot..

Juranovic has done a job at left back but he isn't one. Always gets up and has to chop inside and play a pass or an inswinger..

We need someone who can go on the outside when a Jota, Mikey etc come inside. No the fullback and the winger..

Boli isn't the long term answer, but he's our best available until a left back is signed..

    Just doesn't make sense..

Been completely frozen out and then brought in from nowhere for 2 hard away game's, then never to be seen again..

Tbf he did go two up top.

We ended up with almost a 424 with Johnston and Forrest wide with Giakoumakis and Kyogo up top. A mess of a formation.

YEah but I'm meaning from the start. The constant passing across the box was mind numbing to watch almost as if we expect them to just allow us through

Or, to put a bit more thought into it, how about telling them that everycunt and their blind dug could see that the billion crosses we were putting into the box weren't working, so eh, how about try and get at the goal from another way - possibly go through the centre or AT LEAST take a couple of shots from outside the box and AT LEAST try and trouble their goalkeeper?

When Kyogo plays we look good. When he doesn’t we look pretty poor.
The obvious conclusion would be to play him whenever he’s available.
Dropping or playing your best player out of position always seems like a strange tactic to me.

We’ve signed the Dutch leagues top scorer who scored half the goals with his heid, the issue wasn’t the application of a style it was the players.

We played a dozen excellent balls into the box that we should have been sticking away.
