I wouldn't describe it as workmanlike but I agree that we could be even better. I think we will be though if we continue to work on what we're currently doing.

Kyogo will definitely get more space if he playes wide but feel he has to start through middle on Wed..

Bolingoli being not near the squad today makes me think he'll play Juranovic at LB until we sign one in Jan.

He may go with the same team as today tho. But think..

I think this will be a tricky game for as we can often struggle through there. I know they are currently on a wee bit of a slump but they will raise their game against us and we could also get the same type of ref as we did today. Hopefully we keep the Ange steam roller rolling on to another victory.

They've conceded 6 in their last 3 games, scoring once. We've scored 6 and conceded once. I think Hibs will try and attack more than St Johnston and that will play to our strengths. Also have a suspension, confident we will beat them. They are not a good team but I suppose no Jack Ross team is.

 

I think Bitton will suffice until January. Can pass roughly to McGregor's ability, while his lack of pace won't hurt at the DM position.

Yeah pretty poor record. They are in poor form but this is their cup final, always raise their game against us... again another tough game and must win..

Totally agree here I think McGregor is one of the only midfielders we have that could go beyond a striker with a good one two or run and press high but the lack of a quality midfielder to dictate the game as the DM means we can’t use him like that.

I also feel to get the best out of Turnbull he needs to play higher up the pitch.

Turnbull should be rotated with Rogić. The next game, Tom should definitely be rested- Wednesday is too quick for him to recover. Good chance to push McGregor up.

Kyogo through the middle with Jota and MJ on either wing and Tam in the 10 . McGregor playing the deep role , Boli at LB , JJ at right.....although Ange won't drop Ralston.

 

No we need McGregor in that deep anchor role he is getting very good at it and nobody else can be trusted to look after the ball there as effectively. He is always an option for the CBs and always makes an angle to receive the ball and keeps possession well in tight areas . Until we can sign someone better to do that job he has to stay there. Soro is too rash and McCarthy is never fit .
