Defensively sound performance. With some exceptions. Starfelt made a few good interceptions, read the game well and came forward. Than a brainfart again with that backpass :giggle1: Not optimal as without that I'm sure he would have came out of the game much more confident and I think that's what improves his play the most.

    Otherwise, buy Jota ffs!

Brilliant second half and overall a very good game. The chances we create is unreal but need to be more decisive and deadly. It will come. I’m happy where this teams heading. Well done Jota, Kyogo, Rogic, McGregor and Hart. Everyone played their part. Could and should have been 6-0. Easy. Although Big Hart had an outstanding game.

Fs I thought it was on at 5 kick off so finished early so could be home for 5 only to find out it was kicked off earlier fs. Only seen from the second half but fell asleep watching it. Only got to see parts of the second half but what I did see, confident well have European football after xmass

Starfelt's interceptions in the opposition's half were great and it prevents counter attacks. Hope that's the real Starfelt.

Giakamkious and Mikey off the bench looked absolutely superb, can’t wait to see more of them. Looking a whole lot better now. Especially when jullien gets back. Great performance HH

Was thinking exactly that watching the replays man, like the camera angle towards him as he strikes it.

That first goal was beautiful. Second goal came about as a result of terrific pressin by McGregor. Should’ve been more jota and turnbull should’ve scored as should McGregor.
Did notice a few errors creeping in towards the end from CCV and starfelt and they need to be flawless to breed confidence.

Spot on mate, everyone had a few stray passes, starfelt bar the odd one or 2 stray passes and could have let the early yellow cardaffect him but he totally grew in the game and defensively he was solid and also decent going forward
A liked the look of the big Greek guy aswell, big strong physical presence but looks to have a nice touch on him for a big guy

Thought our high press was superb tonight. Didn't allow them to play for much of the game. Then that Jota pass to Kyogo...:smoke:

Good passing game tonight and all the players mostly looked comfortable on the ball.

Chances offered in these games need to be clinically put away. Can not afford to miss given chances to score. Namely in open play, Turnbull and Jota not scoring as well as Giakoumakis not scoring with the header from the corner kick and not getting a proper touch on the cross later.

McGregor needs to look at the goal, exhale and pick his spot calmly. Hard and low. You could see the adrenaline pumping through him before he took the kick.

CCV should be the prime penalty taker in my book . He is cold as ice and no nonsense in approach. He would rip the net each time.

Giakoumakis is getting in the right positions but is match rusty and needs to go on a strict dietary program. He needs to be sprightly for this team and quicker with his feet. He looks heavier than he was at Venlo.

Very pleased with the result but it could have been 5-0.

Starfelt was going to prove me wrong with a good display till his stuff up at the end that almost cost us a goal. Must not always wait for the ball to reach him, he needs to go to the ball as well when we play out from the back. Not focused.

A good and deserved 3 points and the same in Budapest please in November.

Celtic could be playing in darkest Peru at 2am in the morning and would still be a sellout, our fans are unbelievable, over 50,000 on a Tuesday afternoon that’s just * ridiculous

    A game if two halves.

Superb tempo and drive in the second.

Also... Just to be a *... Where are all these chimps who said Joe Hart was a "has been", "*", "donkey", " can't get a game fer..."... Blah blah blah.

That's what a TOP keeper does. Makes saves, keeps clean sheets, makes a good win ...a great win.
