    I like him.

Passing in particular I've been impressed with. Definite buy, for me.

Pretty sure the fee is £3m, which seems crazy if true.

    Buy.

If it is £3million, we have certainly wasted more on lesser standard players.

I like that the two loan players both have reasonable buy options though. Really is up to us then, loans are seemingly low risk in that respect.

End of season might be too late to get him on a free. Might see himself as done enough enough get a team down south

I don't see our board paying 3mil to get a player earlier (if he would stay of course) when he's out of contract end of the season

We'd be mental to turn down that 3 million clause.....and we won't..

For £3m I'd probably take him. Not sure I'd be too keen on him being a first choice centre back long term though.

He'd thus be available surely for a pre-contract come January then?

Seems a bit daft the release clause, unless it was just put in as some sort of standard practice ?

Julien, CCV and Starfelt. Keeping all 3 would be considered a luxury by our board. 2 out of 3 of them will remain, especially with Welsh in the frame.

    I know which 2 I would keep.
If big CJ gets back to where he was before, we should try punt Starfelt, before his value plummets any further.

Along with Jota, I'd definitely try and buy him early. He's not infallible but I think he's been our best CB by far this season.

And he gives me much more confidence playing out from the back than Starfelt does.

What don't you like about him, out of interest?

Seems to be exactly what we need.

Just don’t think he’s quite as good as many do. Some of his passing is really, really poor.

There’s not a whole lot between him and Starfelt.

Do you mean there's not a lot between them in their passing ability?

As he has shown to be much better in every aspect than Starfelt so far..

Starfelt is getting more confident too, but as others have said a CCV/Jullien partnership could be a very effective one for us.
