    What context did they mention him and assuming it was massive boos? How did they react to that?

    * moron.

    Edit: More for following it up with a smart * comment like that than mentioning him in the first place.

    The worst thing about the entire thing is people who call them “the boys”.

    I have to say, the Given interview was enjoyable, as was the Carragher one late last year. But the podcast has deteriorated so much. Too much absolutely honking patter. But it does seem to still appeal to a large number of people….

    You just need to look at the YouTube numbers to see how popular it is. If you were to add in Apple Podcasts/Spotify/Google Play which majority probably use to listen then it would be very interesting to see how many tune in.

    If you think the interviews are good but the weekly show is * then it’s quite simple, don’t watch the weekly show.

    It’s hilarious how personal some of their mad wee cult of fans take any criticism of the show :giggle1:

    Right, didn’t realise.

    Have you heard some of the things that pass as banter on that show? It’s the sort of thing they’d turn into some sort of running joke.

    It’s good to get back to them. Absolutely no point in Paul Slane being there mind you.

    I'm not an avid watcher of Open Goal but I watched the Sutton one last week and cringed at Slane. His questions and delivery of them were * at best.
