Celtic Football Club announced this evening, we have been informed that we will receive an allocation of tickets for the forthcoming Europa League match in Seville against Real Betis, on Thursday, September 16, 2021.

Due to the short turn-around time which we must deal with and the local Covid protocol requirements, we are presently establishing the most appropriate process for allocating tickets to those fans intending to attend the match.

Further information will follow through the Club website.

Given the ongoing travel logisitics, the Club will not be providing any fan charters for this match and naturally encourage any supporters wishing to attend the match that they comply with all UK and Spanish Covid-19 requirements.

The Club will provide further information as soon as possible.

More than likely a Spanish Gov cancellation as Bayern and Salzburg also due to play in Spain next week have been told no away tickets

We regret to announce that we have in the last 30 minutes been informed by Real Betis that they are no longer allowed to accept away fans for the match against Celtic next week, Thursday 16th September.

Betis have indicated to Celtic that the local authority in Spain has now stated that visiting fans will not be permitted to attend the match.

Responsibility for advising away clubs on ticketing and acceptance of fans travelling lies with the home club in UEFA competitions. Since the draw was made we have asked Betis to confirm whether they will be accepting Celtic fans at this fixture.

Early on Wednesday afternoon Betis confirmed that they would be accepting Celtic fans for this match and the Club has been working hard to try and find a way to comply with the requirements laid down to admit Celtic fans for this fixture.

It is therefore extremely disappointing to be told moments ago that Betis will no longer be able to admit Celtic fans to this match.

Whilst this matter is totally outwith Celtic’s control we fully understand the disappointment which will be felt by Celtic fans planning on attending. Wherever we play we are backed by the best support in huge numbers and it is a disappointment to all involved at Celtic and the team that we will not be able to have our fans with us as we visit the city of Seville again.

Clearly, any match tickets purchased online, which went on sale last night, will be refunded.

We remain in contact with Betis to see if anything can be done but thought it important to get this update out immediately and would advise our fans not to travel. We are speaking to Leverkusen and Ferencvaros to understand the position with away fans and will update in due course.

Next game is massive in this if we want to play European football after Xmas. Ferencvaros at home, nothing less than a win. 2nd is looking out the window but 3rd is still achievable and should have been the bare minimum heading into this group.

Celtic Football Club has been informed by Ferencvarosi TC that, due to local rules in Hungary, UK vaccination certificates are not valid for accessing the away match on November 4, 2021.

In order to provide our supporters with clarity it is important, therefore, that we confirm now that, unfortunately, there will be no match tickets available to Celtic supporters.

The Club are currently awaiting relevant information in relation to the match in Germany against Bayer Leverkusen (November 25) regarding permitted certificates and we will update supporters as soon as possible. Clearly, at this stage we would continue to advise supporters not to arrange any travel.

We will be Celtic’s guests in the third round of the UEL Group Tour

We would like to draw the attention of all our ticket buyers to the fact that during the match, in the immediate vicinity of the stadium, any hand gestures that UEFA may interpret as a * flattery or an anti-Semitic symbol should be warned by their fellow fans. The “heart to sky” arm movement with one hand cannot be done at all! The spectator may not bring any pyrotechnic devices, incense, firecrackers, sound grenades into the stadium. We would like to draw the attention of our fans to the fact that expressions that offend the opponent, the opponent's supporters, the judges, the referees with a gender identity tag or a reference to gender are also defined by UEFA as discriminatory, obscene, discriminatory, insulting or politically discriminating against sexual minorities. even if it happened in Hungarian.

The European Football Association (as well as UEFA) interprets the rigm and inscription as a criminal group, a criminal organization, as an insult or a political manifestation, and the club can be severely punished. As a result of the experience of the Germany-Hungary European Championship match and the Hungary-England World Cup qualifiers, the behavior of the Hungarian fans, and thus the Ferencváros fans inside and outside the stadium, is given special attention.

Thinking of booking a couple of tickets for Tuesday, a treat for my dad.

What's it like at Celtic Park lately with the Covid rules?

As Celtic prepare for UEFA Europa League Matchday 3 on Tuesday, October 19, supporters attending the match versus Ferencvarosi TC at Celtic Park are advised that updated Government legislation is now in place.

This new legislation means that any supporter attending matches at Celtic Park (and other stadia with crowds of 10,000 or more) should be fully vaccinated and be prepared to provide visual proof of this to gain entry to the stadium, unless exempt.

Celtic FC are obliged to follow Scottish Government legislation and would like to thank our supporters in advance for their patience, co-operation and understanding.

    PROOF OF VACCINATION
Supporters are asked to arrive with one of the following ready to show to stewards on approach to Celtic Park:

    EXEMPTIONS
Supporters who are exempt from a vaccination must be prepared to provide evidence of this. Exemptions are applicable to those:

    • Under the age of 18
    • Not able to get the vaccine for medical reasons
    • Taking part in vaccine trials
    • Matchday employees and volunteers
    CERTIFICATE/EXEMPTION CHECKS
Random spot checks will be carried out by stewards on approach to Celtic Park, in line with this Scottish Government guidance and all supporters attending must be prepared to provide proof of vaccination or exemption.

Please ensure you arrive as early as possible on matchday to avoid any delays in entering the stadium while these checks take place.
