I've not read too much on this, but from snippets seems this will just be an annually updated game, but with paid extras.

Tbh I only play ML, so. Wouldn't miss anything else.

 

They're focusing on more player v player than player v ai so wouldn't be surprised if they either ditch it or don't update it

 

The name is pish.

 

It will have master league mode. It will have all the modes released as normal eventually. You just purchase the modes you want.its not gonna be an annual release. They will amend/update when they have something to change. In theory should work out OK.

Will wait and see. Brand new engine running it and only 10 teams in friendly mode on its release on the 30th of this month. But will def downloading it.

 

So it’s basically free and if you want a lot of the content it’s paid content.

 

Yeah, I'm fairly happy with that, and be happy with ML as an extra, Tbh I'm not in the slightest interested in online gaming, the my. Club *.

Just hope they put a bit of work into it and that we can get edited kits etc on Ps5.

 

Looking at Steam price for their player pack add-on. It's shocking. 31/40 for some players, this early into release.No wonder the ist of many....

Seemingly got either THE or one of the worst ratings in steam.

I'll wait till the ML option comes out but I'm not sure about it.

May even go for Fifa Tbh to play a League campaign thingy. Just don't like the gameplay. But I'll maybe give it a go.

I've just left it alone, may give a go at ML when it's available. I've actually plumped for Fifa, still not sure about gameplay, far too arcade but the club career is pretty good, enjoying it.

 

I played a game last night scored and my wee guy jumped over the advertising boards all my players disappeared and the camera just stayed in the one position for a couple minutes before crashing completely

 

Might get this game just for the craic.

 

Downloading it now to see what this is all about. But not sounding good.

Reminds me of that feeling when CM became FM and the guys who held the copyright license for the brand name Championship Manager, tried to be gimmicky with their releases a few years later - tyring to entice users in with free content, but failing massively as almost everyone either views "free" games as subpar to AAA titles, or parents who are about to buy a game for their kids, are plumping for the paid option of FIFA as it has value, seemingly.

Honestly sounds like a last throw of a dice and the series is on death door

 

Konami are pretty much finished as game developers. They have went with the pachinko machines as their main revenue.

Cannae believe this * has made me buy a Fifa game for the first ever time. Love the club career thing, although still think the gameplay suxks *.
