Just saw pictures of Lennoxtown on Celtic's twitter account. Got me thinking, is there any training ground in the world in a more spectacular location? The scenery is amazing.

Travel 200 yards down a path and you're in Beirut :56:

It was a clever move by Celtic, Campsie is a few miles from Milngavie and the land would have cost many times less than the Huns ground yet looks many times better.

    Monaco one is tremendous.

While it doesn't have a tremendous scenery. Bayern Munich's Säbener Street is impressive and its got a wee beer garden as well.

Although I live in Canada now, I grew up in Lennoxtown ( or Campsie as the locals call it) and you're right it is a beautiful area.... having Celtic there is a real bonus as there's many, many die hard Tims living there and surrounding towns......something to be proud of for me as an Ex-Pat.

And should have been named after Tommy Burns
He put the leg work in and if it weren't for his dedication to the future of celtic it would not be there

Actually find it odd I wasn't named then and there.

Always thought it would be cool to buy that derelict hospital next to Lennoxtown and turn it into a hotel

Grand old team to play for
It always annoyed me that Rogers never got his training pitch with the all weather dome.

This. Knowing the board though we’ll try sell the naming rights for it next.

I feel we should buy the derelict hospital and turn it into a hospital, considering the amount of injuries we get.

    Exactly.

He travelled the world. Looked at the best academies and his research made Lennoxtown and the education partnership with St Ninians to ensure all the kids had an education to fall back on

Fair enough we have produced some great talent but I still feel there is much room for improvement

Looking at the state of Lennoxtown, I’m so thankful this board wasn’t in charge of Celtic Park’s rebuild.

It is mortifying that a club our size doesn’t have a full-size indoor pitch.

Didn’t Deila want something like that as well, I seem to remember him saying that all the clubs in Norway have it during the winter period there
