Brendan Rodgers left us because it was best for Brendan Rodgers. if he had the chance to go earlier he would have gone then. His loyalty to himself and himself alone was clear when he took what he could from our staff when he left. Given the opportunity he would quite happily have pillaged our best players mud season if it was possible.

Brendan Rodgers came to Celtic got a wage and worked his way into what he considered a better job.

As predicted to be honest, after 2 seasons his teams become flat and predictable, already see it now, must have thrown the huff he never got a big move this summer.

Brendan Rodgers remains on Barcelona’s radar as members of the club’s hierarchy look at options away from Ronald Koeman, 90minunderstands.

Koeman was given the dreaded 'vote of confidence' by the club's hierarchy last week after their indifferent start to the season, and they hoped for nine points from their games with Granada, Cadiz and Levante.

But the nine point target is already off the table after being held by Granada on Monday night.

President Joan Laporta had considered removing Koeman in the summer, and now he and the club's directors are thinking about making changes after just two wins from the opening four games.

A host of names including former star Xavi - currently managing in Qatar - are already being linked with Barca. Out of work names such as Andrea Pirlo, Joachim Low and Antonio Conte are all being mentioned, as is Rodgers.

Predictable, COVID slowed down the Rodgers predictable rise and fall, same with us and Liverpool, 3 seasons on playing the same players and same predictable style, already talking about moves away and he’s committed to the club etc etc.

I'm surprised he never got a move to Arsenal. I think he'd be perfect there.

    Still a rat though.

I could see that move happening still. Surely Arsenal will be dumping that hun Arteta at some point if they go on another bad run.

If this is true it jist shows how football is fickle. What do Leicester fans really expect? They won the cup and got European football (although not CL, despite the fact it probably should have been) the past 2 seasons.

Thats excellent for a club like that. He has a 50% win ratio. Better than any other Leicester manager in the Prem. Deserves time

    Sounds familiar...

    I wouldn’t class Arteta as a hun.

Arteta played 2 full seasons (played 68 games total) for the huns ergo he is a hun.

Leicester fans have had far higher expectations since they won the league. How long that mentality will stay is another thing. Over the 5 Windows he has had I doubt he has actually spent at a loss either as Chilwell and McGuire have likely covered all costs. He hasn't done a bad job but their form did drop in the second half of last season and hasn't picked up. This happened at Celtic and Liverpool so not shocked it's happening now. Rodgers may even fancy himself for Newcastle job which I think is a problem for Leicester now.
All Leicester managers are doomed as they need to spend high on a Vardy replacement, he's 35 in January and while still doing well that will only last so long. I'm not sure the new signing Patson Daka will cut it.

    Edit: Arteta = hun
