Thing is though people were moanin recently about amount of shots on target we were getting in games and not scoring or taking our chances so 2 shots on target and 2 goals is what’s known as takin your chances in front of goal
Not kidded a helluva lot of work still needing done but 3 points away from home exactly what we needed going into the winter break

Thats it! I dont fall into the trap of slating everything we do unless we are winning in style. This was always going to be a tough game and as we understand, coming away with 3 points is all that mattered. Few dodgey incidents in the game but overall im happy. This is a team in progress who have still to get the feel for scottish football some of them. Once we get more recruts in and they jell, well come good. And even at that, when we have a winning team that will be playing excellent football, we will still have days like this where we grind the 3 points out.

Both the performance and the result I expected.

Fully expected this to be the * unwatchable grind that it was.

I really do think this is a turning point. Ugly win to galvanize these lads into a bit of belief, and a good break to get some really much needed work at Lennoxtown in.

I've no doubt we'll get better... I honestly don't think we'll come back storming.... But time is again on our side, and we can take a breath, put some work in, get a few lads back, and kick on.

    Hail hail.

Stressful stuff. But we won ugly away for the first time in ages. Platform for Ange to hopefully build on.

Sorry if it’s been mentioned already, but this is reminiscent of the time we beat Aberdeen 2-1 under Ronny Deila, the birth of the Ronny Roar!
Hopefully this is the turning point for Ange, winning ugly is sometimes more galvanizing than smashing a team.

He got caught out late on but he's very good..

    Quick
    Tall
    Attacking
Defended well for the most part up against Jota, although he went over ridiculously easy all game

Very rare that a Scottish right back takes all of their corners. Had some delivery on him..

We should be watching him very closely. Had a bjg future. Think he looks better than Patterson if I'm honest..

Aberdeen, rightly, won't sell him to us come January but there's a few players we should be looking at, both him and Baningime at Hearts would be good signings imo.

He looks ridiculous considering he’s just turned 18 and playing under that diddy.

Don’t think there’s a chance we get him. Think a big English team will fling stupid money at him.

We needed to win ugly today.

In fact it was more important to see out a narrow game with few chances, than to turn up and win comfortably.

Yes winning comfortably is better and it's something we should be aiming to do every week but even Rodgers' Invincibles had to grind out narrow wins.

They are the victories that win you titles and cups.

He needs to demand signings in January we are embarrassingly light in midfield. Even a single injury to the likes of McGregor leaves us in the *. Ange strengthening in midfield is so important that it could decide whether he still has a job or not by the end of the season.

Played * but it’s an ugly win, we need to be winning these types of games even if it means winning ugly.

Massive 3 points for the team today. Let’s see what happens in the next few games.

The most disappointing thing today was the lack of leadership on the pitch , everybody hiding , the amount of sideways or backward passes , this is a team seriously lacking confidence and knowing what they should do .

After our recent run, a 3 points was a must regardless of the performance, so job done. Hopefully the monkey off out back regarding our away form.
