    Bitton is a good midfielder and a * defender it will be refreshing actually getting to see him play his favoured position, hope to * we win today it’s needed badly.

    Not a fan of Bitton but aye something needed to be done. Shows how bad our recruitement was, you can't have 2 of Rogic, Turnbull and McCarthy in the same midfield.

    Hopefully means Turnbull will only play 45 or 60 minutes, which seems to be all he or Rogic is capable of before they're burst

    Bitton is a better option than the Turnbull / Rogic combo. They can't play together in a 3 middle. Not a massive fan but I do think he is a better option.

    Personally I'm glad he chose Turnbull over Rogic. Neither has been in great form but Turnbull has more stamina for the role.

    Also shows how bad our recruitment has been over the years that Bitton is now a viable option in midfield after being 5th choice for CM and CB for so long...

    Glad Bitton is playing.. he’s become a whipping boy at CB but he has never been a bad CM for us.. he just fell down the pecking order because once upon a time we had a lot of talent in midfield

    Ange likes to play dynamic,fast paced attacking football. We may attack with pace with that team, the front 3 giving that, but the midfield other than Calmac are going to struggle to get up and support and get back defensively. Turnbull, Bitton have no pace, Montgomery has no positional sense. Jota going forward has been superb but doesn't offer enough going back defensively, our lh side is going to be exposed, Sheep will see that especially Brown with his experience, ball over the top lh side. Bitton gives the fear his hot head will see him collect a red.
