When has Ange ever signed players for the kinda money he deals in now ? What is his highest transfer fees before now ?

Sick of the nonsense, 'Ange WILL come good, he ALWAYS does' etc. It's bullshit.

 

It's entirely imaginable, I'm afraid. He insists on implementing every concept he has immediately, and the players can't cope. I'd rather have him slow down on the tactical novelties, but focus his energy on squeezing more staff appointments out of the board.

 

Was it under Rodgers where we recorded most conceded goals in a group?

Perhaps that's the plan.
Be "better" than Rodgers, means must be good.

Aye we are seeing savvy managers exploiting our weaknesses they don't even have to be that savvy either the inverted full back is a non starter for me even man c get exploited with that system

See the thing for me is, the two results in Europa, I'd accept that if we was running away with the league.

If we was scoring 3 goals a game domestically and taken practically full points in the league, then you could easily say he needs time to make the squad better for that challenge.


But he's failing in the league.
He's failing against hearts, united, livi, the Huns... It's just not good enough at all.

That's the worry.
No one is expecting us to beat Leverkusen. The 4-3 against betis was interesting and showed we can score at that level but clearly we do need work/new faces to come in. That shows there is something to build on - if you take these two games in isolation.

But we can't.
Realistically we are dugshit this season.
And the same reason teams like betis and Leverkusen can score four against us, is the same reason United and livi can score against us.
The calibre of the opponent isn't the issue. It's our * defence.

If we don't beat Aberdeen he should be sacked.

 

Dont remember if it was here or elsewhere I read .. " you could land a Concorde in that space behind those inverted full backs " made me laugh !

 

Think we have to back ange , we all knew this season was a rebuild , give him another couple of windows , i thi k a few players where maybe forced upon him to make up numbers , injuries have also not been kind to us and i think they few high scoring games we won have maybe got people thinking we are further along than we are , the only thing irritating me just now is the lb situation, give scales a chance as for me montgomery offers nothing, in January i expect to see another midfieder , a winger and maybe another striker that will give ange better options from the bench or even starting line up

 

Then this board will put * Kennedy back in charge give the guy a another transfer window and see where we are from February to end of the season .
But this board need to back him in the January window still needs at least seven players in on January .

 

We need to spend big on a proper central midfielder who can bully opponents and dominate games allowing the flair players to do their thing.

 

I would try bring wanyama back , has plenty of experience and i think he would jump at the chance. I also think lewis ferguson would be a good player

 

Hopefully we beat Aberdeen and kick on. They’re struggling too at the moment.

I think a bad loss tomorrow and he’ll be gone by Monday.

I don’t even necessarily think he’ll be sacked, I could see him walking.

 

He has the winter break,which is more than he got pre -season,to work with the players but our position being what it is,I think he could very well be packing his things next week if we lose tomorrow

I remember Lennon's first season. There was a massive turnover of players and we have been atrocious the season before. We brought in to the first team:

Now we got pumped out of both European competitions but won out first 8 games of the season. There can be no question we are witnessing a similar rebuild now but from what I have seen so far it hasn't been good enough. We have brought into the first team:

Hart

Starfelt
CCV

Abada
Jota
Kyogo

Tomorrow will be Ange's 8th game of the season. Its a huge one for him. Its like the Lennon at Kilmarnock game. 3 down at half time and on the verge of resigning we pulled it back. Ange needs a big performance tomorrow. Big time.

 

Everyone and their dog knows our wings are just begging to be exploited.
